I have the Rebel V2 and it is the BOMB! I have no problem with the complaints some people make about it being too soft blah, blah, blah. I have double "A" narrow foot so all complaints about narrow toe-boxes go in the trash for a guy like me and since I have zero pronation, many of the complaints regarding stability don't apply to me. But having said that, everyone has their own experience and biomechanics. Nobody is wrong.

Rebels are the best. My V2s have about 100 miles in them. Having the 1080s alongside as an every day shoe for long easy runs, gets around the potential durability issues, which night have been overplayed anyway. New Balance are bossing it at the moment, if like me, you're not a fast racer, who needs a carbon plate, I don't see the need to look elsewhere for quite a while.
I'm still waiting for the rebel plus. You know we want a nylon plated shoe on the cheap. Please tell me new balance has something like this in the works

I’d honestly sacrifice durability for lighter weight. Great shoes this light weight in this category with this much cushion are rare. So for me, please do not add weight for a bit more durability. Keep em super light, they’re so nice to run in the way they are.
No, the rebel will be lower stack, lighter, and more responsive than More v3. This is a lightweight uptempo running shoe (as opposed to the max cushion daily trainer More v3) and it will excel on workout day while still having enough cushioning for some daily training. -Connor

Rebel V2 isn't versatile at all. It's an up-tempo trainer that is great for threshold workouts. At least for us Big Strong Runners. Maybe for the skinny guys it's versatile. Is it wider at the base of the heel?

V3 is superb! Better than v2, definitely one of the best daily trainers 2022. It's number 1 for me. Very versatile and fun rides.

No the outsole rubber just wears away fast.
