Just for the fact that it looks like all of the "OP" characters that were available with tickets and in the base banner are now locked behind paywalls really shows how cash grabby this game is. Hinami one of the best healer, spend 500 or 600 bucks and you get her maxed Arima, needing to do whatever the daily deal is to get SHARDS of him, probably gotta spend like 50 bucks a day to get like 10-20 shards and you need 100 shares for ONE COPY Matasaka requires VIP TWELVE FOR ONE COPY. Uta not even in the game yet but will probably be pay wall or event like Kaneki or Juzo

I will say, once you're high enough level, it becomes pretty idle-esk via autos, however that's IF people play to that point. Difficulty is really there for past 200k cp teams in conquest battle & that's about it. F2P friendliness, it is a gacha game at the end of the day, so they want your money, right. Lots of gems are given out for free, as I was able to stack 40k without exhausting resources, but it doesn't guarantee anything besides a random SSR on the limited banner. Tix are also given out for free with 2k pulls + tix you get via other modes. As you mentioned, with no pity on standard, that does suck. That should be implemented in modern gachas across the board. I believe the reason they didn't is how much value players would get by not spending money. The game does seem like a cash grab, especially with how early they shut down the other version. Didn't even make it to a year... Graphics wise, yeah, it's a mobile game, can't expect much tbh. Overall, it's meant for those die hard TG fans who grasp at something for content & for those who spend countless hours in the basement on gachas

The characters designs are fine as they are aimed for fans of the Anime/Manga and not for the likes of all the fans of sexy anime girl characters. Stuff being level locked can be annoying but honestly not that bad as you can level quite fast if you just use your energy wisely like my friend that did it in about a week and he is a free to play player that works like 10 hours a day and plays like 3 other games a day mainly his Genshin impact . All I’m saying is that the game isn’t great but can be fun especially for those that are fans of Tokyo Ghoul , but you do have to spend at least a hour a day to make any decent progress so if you can’t do that at least then this isn’t gonna be a game for you .

Downloaded it as a joke and it was somehow worse than I thought. Story mode was play by play of the anime, you have to download new things every time you enter a new chapter, the animations absolutely suck and clearly took zero effort, there’s nothing worthwhile to stick around for, no original story, lore, good gameplay, fun endgame, none of that. Unless you like to farm just to farm, this game isn’t worth a second of anyone’s time.
Okay to shed some light on things this game is horrible it has been launched 2 TIMES which each time theyve scammed the players out of their paid currency and has caused more and more problems. I worked with this company as a CC for abit and things went heavily downhill even a friend of my named McBurn which if you mention them in their official discord has worked for them and they legitamately were paying them to lie for their game. This game has alot at first but they then proceeded to tell people the last time in launched that they we're sick and that they couldnt provide more content. This led to eventually the closing of the game that was originally said to be its "Global" release. Funcat has proceeded to make fake developer accounts to add competition for others to spend. They've changed rates on gacha pulls without informing the community. Have made it so gems are practically impossible to get and im not saying this as a f2p person this is even while spending the currency is miserable. Deleted anything negative stated as well as have banned them from public servers they've owned when stating they are scamming and or asking for refunds. Take this as a warning and do not play this game.

Man, I'm actually enjoying it so far. Granted only a day but they give you a ton of shit, I've pulled all the good characters and the gameplay is kinda cool. Granted it's not the prettiest looking game but I wouldn't say "ugly" either and I don't feel like I need to spend a dime yet.
The game is so boring. Even after a week it’s still boring. That said I’m still gonna play it (F2P) just because I have hopes it will improve. But overall it’s 100% just a cash grab and they can’t make it more obvious. the rates are decent I’ve managed to pull both banners on like 4 tries each.
I love Gacha games and i love Tokyo Ghoul but this is such cheap bullshit and im pissed. Its so much pay to win its just insane, not to mention straight up buying 5* Reviews with in Game stuff and there are enough who do that see that the game is trash delete it but never chnage their review so it just gets better and better reviews. If you pay you get into higher ranks so you get better rewards and every F2P just gets little breadcrumps and never has the chance to achieve anything. I mean i love the story from Genshin and never regretted any purchase i payed in Summoners War and even though i reggret ot i still play and like it since yes there is a Rank System you dont get rewards in PVE just PVP and even then it feels fair. But this game is so incredibly rip of. I mean you want a healer? Better pay 56€ its not even fun for F2P because as already said you will get jacked shit since only the best payer will actually get anything usefull for the Guild or Arena Shop.

You get ssr from arena and ssr from guild shop ; also they change the pity to 200 ,and the rates for standar banner is really high for a gatcha game
Which is 3% but hopefully they increase it to at least 4 when they add some more and that will be nice but best gatcha atleast for me is solo leveling
And most of their offers suck
Best way to put this is, if you like Tokyo Ghoul you’ll like the game & what it offers it’s also F2P friendly, don’t have to spend a cent at all they give out so much stuff.
If you don’t like Tokyo Ghoul or the anime then this isn’t the game for you at all.
Best Mobile Gacha game is AFK Arena. Hands down its also very free2play friendly

Man, I'm actually enjoying it so far. Granted only a day but they give you a ton of shit, I've pulled all the good characters and the gameplay is kinda cool. Granted it's not the prettiest looking game but I wouldn't say "ugly" either and I don't feel like I need to spend a dime yet.

Even after a week it’s still boring. That said I’m still gonna play it (F2P) just because I have hopes it will improve. But overall it’s 100% just a cash grab and they can’t make it more obvious.
the rates are decent I’ve managed to pull both banners on like 4 tries each.

I love Gacha games and i love Tokyo Ghoul but this is such cheap bullshit and im pissed. Its so much pay to win its just insane, not to mention straight up buying 5* Reviews with in Game stuff and there are enough who do that see that the game is trash delete it but never chnage their review so it just gets better and better reviews. If you pay you get into higher ranks so you get better rewards and every F2P just gets little breadcrumps and never has the chance to achieve anything. I mean i love the story from Genshin and never regretted any purchase i payed in Summoners War and even though i reggret ot i still play and like it since yes there is a Rank System you dont get rewards in PVE just PVP and even then it feels fair. But this game is so incredibly rip of. I mean you want a healer? Better pay 56€ its not even fun for F2P because as already said you will get jacked shit since only the best payer will actually get anything usefull for the Guild or Arena Shop.

I have played I’ve been lucky playing I don’t play these type of gatcha games but I am a Tokyo ghoul fan so I have it a try is it the best heck no is it easy to understand yes it’s overall ok hey I’m normal but as soon as this game was released I am now level 52 campaign most of my ssr+ are level 125 it’s day to level them up but yes I play this not in enjoyment😂 the pity system is bad but it’s 13% after 100 pulls

honestly it is sad that tokyo ghoul can't get a good game cus of licensing and everything that idk happening behind the scene, as the game is, it's a 5/10 for me, it's not the worst I've experience (check out yokai watches gacha they did, if you wanna see things go wild, that one was a legit 2/10 for me) but for a game like this where almost every other game is better then this one, only the ip saves it. tokyo ghoul btc just isn't good sadly

it is basic but its really not as bad as youre making it and at least its not as p2w as a lot of other games u can spend very little to nun and get a lot of characters/stay high powered
a lot of the features locked behind high campaign levels aren't available for another week even after you've reached that level. currently on level 85 and there still is no ''potential'' mechanic for characters and there won't be until november 11th as well as no carnival feature until november 20th. i do find most of your critiques reasonable but i feel like asking for better characters can be done without sounding like p*rn addicted creep, yk? let's keep ''hot waifus'' in 2020, where they belong. anyway, the gacha is far more merciful than you'd think, i got kaneki with some free tickets from an event without going over 50 pity and i wasn't even trying to get him in the first place. if you play consistently and pull every now and then you'll get most characters. it's genuinely far more rewarding than say genshin (i've played that for 3 years) because you get a lot more gems passively, unlike in genshin. i haven't and never will spend money on TGBTC, bc ew, as if. i feel like your perspective is of someone judging the game, since this series is literally that, whereas i downloaded the game out of curiosity, without any expectations so i can understand why you'd have so many frustrations with it, unlike me who just got bored and tried out something new. my rating of the game: probably 7/10 bc it keeps me occupied and that's what i downloaded it for. also, for any players reading this, add me! my name is stanloonaur69.

Your crying over combat in a turn based game the story is decent nobody is actually downloading the game to watch the story we all know what happened already basically y’all problems with the game is that you have to actually grind the game you’ve been playing for three days and struggling to reach stage 29 is a skill issue not even gone lie every player in the discord has no trouble with story cc campaign is the real challenge this is easily one of the best turn based games to drop super generous they give us free tickets they give us free units plus a maxed Rize even upgrading units super easy I have most of my units ur and I’m f2p y’all just lazy tbh

i mean, you kinda just have to treat the game like runescape. idle auto battle through the chain depth campaign while doing something else, then when you wanna play the game invite your friends to conquest battles in real time or pvp. Also you get HOUNDREDS of sweep tickets in the endless trials. i will say the games pvp is very pay 2 win
