I had an issue with the Fenty skin tint at first. I had bought two shades for when I self tan. I noticed the lighter color was TOO light and that’s when I had textural issues. I could see it sitting in my pores and it generally looked bad. I used the darker shade and BOOM it was beautiful. Looked just like skin. Not sure why but that was just my experience.

I have combination skin and the first time I used the Fenty skin tint it sat on my skin and emphasized my dry areas and pores. I used some MAC Fix+ and that solved a lot of the issues. The next time I wore a more hydrating base and it went on beautifully. I think you just need to adjust your skin prep with this one. Also, I had better luck with a brush vs fingers.
I love the way you compared these. I still struggle with know how to pick a bronzer and will take all the information I can get. SUPER cute shirt.

This is definitely helpful info. I have been looking for a "less intense" bronzer that I can build up slowly rather than having intense color with one swipe. The Vesca bronzers looked interesting but the lightest color would barely even be dark enough to be a foundation shade on me but then the next darker bronzer is SO much of a jump in color (I think it's Rio then Santorini?). So here I'm way more into the look of the Patrick Ta because the Wayne Goss has more of that more intense Cali glow (which I already have products for). But the contour on the Goss palette seems so much more interesting because of the gray tone (the Ta contour almost looks like a brontour rather than a true "contour"). So torn 😩

I absolutely love the new Fenty foundation. I get just enough coverage for a "no makeup - makeup" look and the most beautiful glow. My skin just looks like mine but better and no detectable foundation on it. I got it from your review. I usually go for a more Medium buildable coverage but have been looking for something exactly like this. I still use a little concealer on any acne marks & undereyes. So thank you for the review!
I saw someone review it and they did not like it because it was a light coverage foundation - basically because it was exactly what it claimed to be 🙄 I was so annoyed by their review lol

Eco tools and Cala brushes are SOOOOOOOO soft- I wish they’d come out with even smaller brushes for my small features. I love them- I’m comparison, ABH brush that comes with their pallets is very scratchy- and supposed to be higher end, so...
I am really enjoying the Fenty Eaze Drop Skin Tint too!!! I love the skin finish and ease of application. I also really like the combo with the Kosas Cloud Set powder. BTW it looks great on you! Can’t get enough of this daily content! 💗

People dont like the fenty drops???? My skin is combo and so many formulas make my skin look so textured but the fenty drops are AMAZING on me. It glides over any dry spots on me!
I’m gonna have to go with Patrick Ta. I like a warmer shade, and no shimmer!!

Even though I said I wasn't going to get the Fenty, I did. I am so glad. I love it for light everyday wear. I do have to make sure I let my skincare sink in before I apply it.
I’m not sure which I like more!! I think for me (more neutral/cool than warm) that the Wayne Goss would be the best choice. But both are beautiful products! Thanks for all of the swatches. I was wondering where Salt New York fell on the scale, so I’m glad you compared.

Fenty Skin Tint makes me look sooo dry, like mummified corpse dry. I’m hoping once summer fully hits here in the southeast all that humidity will work in my favor. I’m not giving up on it yet!
Scotch tape works really well for taking off hard panned product.

The moment you picked up the blush I went NOOOOOOOO because I know how pigmented it is. I do love the Carmel blush with a very light hand and small brush. Great bronzer comparison, exactly what I needed to see to decide, thank you!

ALLLLL the Canadian TH-camrs seem to like the Fenty as does Alicia (Kinky Sweat). The only reason I haven't ordered it from Fenty's site (my suspected shade(s) are sold out at Sephora) is that I am trying to finish my Koh Gen Do Aqua foundation because I use it in a very similar way and I am PARANOIA about my expensive foundations expiring. But it's next. I think it looks glorious. As does the Patrick Ta duo, but I legit JUST bought Danessa's cream contour, which I love muchly. Buying a powder contour that is not Surratt's Grissaille (my favorite powder contour EVER) is a hard sell right now after the Bataan death march of finishing the Charlotte mini contour, which I did NOT love. But I'm willing to be convinced, even if just for a bronzer down the road. But take heart, all the people I look to for complexion products the most love the Fenty, so you're in good company.

Good morning ☀️ I do love the Fenty tinted blur, I did applied like you said with hands and is amazing, and also I just apply a little amount. I’m a big believer that less is more, and to me is great, I’m loving it. I have dry skin specially with the AC on, I just moisturize really well which I always do anyways . But you are not alone for me is one of the best recommendations as well as the Westman 🥰🥰🥰

I had an issue with the shade of the Fenty Eaze Drop ( thanks to the Sephora shade finder), but once I got the correct shade, it seems to work well for me. I apply it with my hands, over my SPF and a hydrating primer.
Thanks so much for this! I’ve been waiting for your comparison. The Patrick Ta is gorgeous, but I think the Wayne Goss might be better fit my skin and fill in a gap in my collection better.
Thank you for comparing your experience with the Kosas vs. PMG. I really like the Kosas but can’t get the Right color, I am on try 3 now, waiting for my order. Regarding the Fenty, I like it but skin prep and powder make a difference.

I wipe my brush off on the back of my hand between each time dipping back into the pan for the Kosas powder and it seems to help with the hard pan. I think it has to do with the oils/foundation being transferred from the brush to the pan so I just kind of wipe it off a bit.
I didn’t care for the salt ny contour. I found it to greasy and too dark but I loved her bronzer. I feel like I always look dirty when I try to contour guess I still haven’t found the right one although I am liking the smash box bronzer contour highlight matte trio
I have the Wayne Goss in Satin Bronze. I believe I must have purchased the wrong shade. The bronzer is not quite dark enough on the first, second, or even third layer. If I try to go for a fourth or fifth layer it gets patchy. If I blot it with a sponge, it looks even worse. The contour shade looks patchy with my rephr brush, so I use synthetic brush. It is the same shade as the Balm Oliver bronzer on me. The Balm Oliver bronzer is easier to blend as a contour. I love Wayne Goss and his blush palette is lovely.
I have and love the eaze drop skin tint too! I use about as much as you do and I do my skincare the night before and morning of applying it. I would say I have combo skin, and it looks very good up close, especially on texture! keep up the great work, love your videos so much 💕
I'm so excited for my Sephora orders to come in! I placed 3 orders 🤭 but only 1 had came in so far but I got the Patrick Ta contour and bronzer and it hasn't came in yet but seeing you use it I'm excited! I'm very similar in skin tone to you and got the same shade! I think it's coming next week but it needs to hurry! Looks so good! Yay! I got the ND mini glam, Mario eye highlight, Saie liquid highlighter and Tower 28 gloss in almond in today! I love everything! I was worried about the Saie after hearing ppl not like it but I actually love it!
You know, a lot of people love that Purito BB cream. It made me look so dry and awful. I put it in a give away bag. Then I decided to give it another try. I use a baby pea size of it with a drop of rose hip oil and it is SO good. Maybe Fenty is the same?

I've had that issue with the UD Hydromaniac. It just makes my skin looks so dry and emphasizes all of my dry spots in a super unflattering way. Gonna keep trying bc I hate to return but i think I might have to. I was sooo excited for it too :(

On another note I don't think that either of these products have a good shade range. Patrick Ta is a little better but it's still not enough.

Last year I bought the Fenty cream bronzer in shade Amber and THAT is the greyest contour shade I have ever seen. I thought about returning it but with a light hand it actually ended up being a great shade for me for more glam makeup (if we ever get back to dressing up and going out).
I ended up reordering and stocking up on multiple Salt NY contour tints and they are my everyday staple. I wish they hadn’t been reformulated as I prefer the orig formula a lot more but it still is the best contour shade for my skin tone to exist to date. I really wanna try the DM Vision Flush in Nutcracker to see if that would work as a brontour on me.
Hang on, follow up to Fenty comment and then I'll shut up. So analogy. When it comes to certain eye shadow brands, I ONLY watch a very few reviews when I'm trying to decide if I want to buy it, because I know my tastes and style and preferences align with the influencer and I also trust their opinions, swatches, and comparisons. Thereafter, I may watch a ton for entertainment or inspiration. The same is EXTREMELY true for complexion. I can't remember if I had decided to order Zero or had just ordered Zero when you reviewed it. But that, older reviews of complexion products I know I like, and reviews of products that are similar to ones I have make you a person whose tastes align with mine. I don't tend to like super commonly used base products (except Armani silk, give it to me forever), and a lot of what I like has mixed or even poor reviews (zero). Part of the usefulness of your review is your own taste and preferences. (This is also true with blush and I know the lines where we are same-same and where we are different). In some ways this is as helpful as the Tati-level knowledge, because the gut reaction tells me what I will like and not. Also I thought that Violette video was fine. I've seen all your liquid eyeshadow videos. You love them and want all the sparkly shadows to work. It's not just okay to have a minority opinion, it's honestly helpful.
