Mexico is full of potential geniuses.
Just look at the Mayan calendar as an example - This calendar is more accurate than what we currently use and was invented centuries/millennia ago. It takes great mathematical precision and highly intelligent minds to invent such a tool.

The way you know that there are many incredibly smart people in Mexico and that they are some of the best workers in the world?
There are pyramids in Egypt. People are always trying to figure out who built them.
Well, there are also pyramids in Mexico. But no one doubts who built them! Mexicans!

    Racism in a nutshell...
    Aztec people (1400's-1500's):
Build 300 foot tall pyramids (100 feet taller than the tower of doom), one of the most complex languages on the Earth, advanced mathematics, water roads for canoes (travel), glass swords, staff slings, stone slings, atlatls, poison dart guns, full body quilted cotton armor, wooden helmets, 800,000 warriors, 500 established city states, inflicted 1,000 casualties against the invading Spanish forces, and 20,000 casualties against Spanish allies, even when 90% of the Aztec army died from disease.
    Mexican Independance (1810):
The Mexican people overthrow Spain and eliminated 2,000 Spanish soldiers. And established Mexico, a nation of equality designed for Spanish settlers, and Indigenous groups to be free from tyranny and segregation and live together in peace.
    Mexican American War (1846):
United States Government declares war on Mexico because of false alegations made my Andrew Jackson. Mexico holds the line against inevitable odds and inflicts 5,885 casualties against the U.S military to defend it's soil. Loses the war, but forces the U.S to lose several entire brigades of military personnel.
French intervention in Mexico (5th of May):
The French Military occupies Mexico, and again, against all odds, Mexico holds the line, and in a single battle, inflicts 780 casualties against the French forcing them to retreat, by the end of the war, France suffers a total of 14,000 casualties.
    Mexico (present day):
Invents the most advanced radio telescope in the world and joins on the search for life in space.
Racist people: ......Mexico cain't do sheeit right.

It is now 19 years after the competition. I hope these boys have prospered. However, the U.S. really screwed up here when the contest found these boys and nothing was done to develop their raw talent. If the U.S. wants to continue as a world leader, it must nurture and develop the best and brightest of us no matter where those people are found. We must also lead in innovation and that will not happen if we continue to get people from the same old places over and over again. I am also disappointed that our Latin community didn't step up to help these boys. Maybe 19 years ago, Latin communities hadn't organized enough but it is important for any minority or less-advantaged group to champion their own. This story shows how easily a stand-out kid can be overlooked.

Sebastian Behrens Almost every american movie is a kind of Propaganda. Bad propaganda is which wants you to join the army, good propaganda is which wants you to accept for example inmigrants or at leats not being racist with them.

***** Yes, being skeptical=arrogance. People, in general, are prone to ideological cuntism--and you are a perfect example of why (Listen and believe!)
In this case, he's right to be skeptical, the program was misleading. They said one student got deported, which is true--but it's not all that happened to him. A senator intervened specifically and granted him citizenship; he now works as an engineer for a railway. One of the other students was able to crowd fund 50k to return to school for a year, and is raising money to finish his education beyond that.
The other 2 students unfortunately stayed in the U.S. but because of their status could not secure state funds to finish college--this is wrong and I hope it gets fixed, but the actual story of the dramatic intervention, and the donation of a (large) amount of money to help the other guy? Is a piece of "good" news that didn't make it into this clip because it would break the narrative. It wouldn't show all Americans as "arrogant cunts" and so wouldn't appease people who are looking for outrage.
Being skeptical of the modern media is not being arrogant, it's being rational. That being said, I hope the stories of these young men get out, it is quite a loss that any of them didn't get to pursue their dream due to Prop 300 yanking their ability to get state funds.
