Crazy how im sitting here watching a video about how many face shells a guy in a SpiderMan mask has and just realising I’ve been cosplaying for nearly 2 years and still don’t have a face shell
they arnt required at all. i just prefer to have one :)

Speaking of face shells, I'm gonna get my 1st spider suit from print costumes when I get paid on Friday and it's gonna be the ATSV Miles suit and then later on I'll get a new ITSV suit to replace my old one from Amazon that I've mentioned in the past

for the faceshell don’t add on. Keep it accurate to your measurements, and inform him of that. He’s really good about sizing it properly to your accurate measurements. For the mask however, add on a half

You mentioned you needed to get the mesh for the Ben Reilly shell- exactly what material would you use for that? I was thinking of just getting some computer mesh filters, but I'd love to know what you use. Love the videos Miles :D
in all honesty’s i’ll have to do some digging. I don’t know the mesh maffhewdc uses for his shells so i’ll have to poke around amazon to find one. A thin white plastic mesh will work, just gotta find one that works

for that one i don’t know the exact vendor. I bought it off another cosplayer. And the price will vary based on vendor, material, quality, lense style, etc.

dirt cheap bro. I record on an i pad/ i phone. Using a wireless 20$ mic. And edit through capcut. Thumbnails are made in photoshop. Super simple yet effective.

Hey brother, question do you fill the lenses with wood filler you you don’t see the 3d print lines?
most of the lenses are resin printed to my knowledge. any print lines can be sanded off easy

@@lgitbacon7293just lookup on google “Kane scare let spider spider suit design” find the exploded pattern you like and purchase it from that vendor. then upload it into printcostume as a custom design. (code MILES15 to save)

I 3d printed a faceshell and I when I put it on It's too tight where I can't move my mouth, Any tips?
you can try sanding down the inside of where it’s too tight to see if you get any wiggle room. but if that fails just reprint at a higher scale. depending on how much tighter it is, anywhere from a 2% to a 8% scale boost in the model will do the trick. just don’t over shoot it

Random question, in Print Costume; Can I ask for specific lenses in the "Additional Notes"? For ex, if I want Raimi lenses for a Raimi suit, can I ask them to put the Raimi lenses on the mask?
print costume dosent spec like in shells, therefore they don’t really have lense options that are the best. I think they offer a raimi option in the “props” section if i’m not mistaken. but they are not good. For lenses. I reccomend getting a raimi shell and lense set from another vendor. and just using printcostume for the suit and mask

Are there like specific sizes of face shells for girls? I want to try wearing a spiderman suit with a face shell but I’m not sure if the face shell will fit my face very well😅
Do you know anything about joyydesign? They are crazy expensive but their suits look identical to the movies and I’m thinking about saving up for that
dont take my word exactly for it. but ive heard they are a scam company, or at least a theft based one that steals the designs or products of others. Im not 100% sure, however for suits, id stick with the safe options. If its a raimi suit I know a guy on IG who makes those custom (elfett)

@@Gabe785 For a decent suit. Printcostume works. For 100% movie accuracy.. not sure yet. Maybe the same guy, but as far as i know he only does raimi. if i find out ofc i’ll share as always

the ones i get from maffhewdc are custom sized. Most that are 3D printed by custom vendors, can and should be custom sized to you
I love how supportive you are and you always answer fans questions. Whenever I go back to play the first ps4 Spider-Man I always use the ESU suit cause it reminds me of you since he has on regular clothes but he just has a mask. I'm like "dang this looks like Miles" Thanks!

I need help to breath in the mask, the faceshell looks cool but is so hard to breath in it. +foggy lenses (I NEED TIPS SENSEI)
breathing shouldn’t be too hard. the masks are thin and shells (should) be ventilated. if it’s not, it needs holes in the shell to vent it. For the lenses, depends on the style. my TASM2 always fog bc they are mirrored
