I liked the awkward and lazy way of explaining things and the, "Ah screw it" mentality. A really refreshing touch to the usual tutorial. And that style of shading and the colours you chose, damn. I was like nope, its not gonna work, they're too deep etc etc but then you put it on the hair and I was like well I don't know what to believe anymore then XD Nice work my dude.
Ah, your tutorial was really helpful! I learned a lot of tips from you (mostly about clip layer and multiply lineart) and of course the way you color hair is really adorable and it look really pretty! Thanks! You deserve more views for sure!
Putting the line art as a multiply lair is very smart, I never thought of that, I always go back and color them in XD I will do the multiply layer thing next time!
it hurts when you accidentally drew on the wrong layer, didn't notice it, kept on drawing, made some significant progress that actually looks good, and realizing it would be a waste to undo all of that hard work just because you made a mistake way back then that's equivalent to the pain of having a smudge on traditional art imo :'▷ both hurts af

Literally found you video when I'm trying to get back into drawing. Hair is definitely my weak point at the moment and your video helped out a lot! Thank you!
Your tutorials are so helpful! They just seem more relaxed and are way less complicated than other tutorials. I was actually able to colour for once using them.

i find shading on the same layer helps decluttering soooo much. shading things like hair is better when there are few layers. the preserve opacity function works like a treat!
Personally I noticed that your tutorials definitely aren't like the really short ones that don't explain enough but not like the super long ones that take to long explaining something simple when it could be explained easier. You go into the perfect amount of detail when explaining!
Nice tutorial. You didn't explain the fundamentals that well, but for me, trying to adapt to the technical side of making clean anime art, this was very helpful (even using photoshop)
I just came across to this tutorial and it really helped me a lot! I mean, I have watched tons of different tutorials (most were silent ones where you just watched it and guessed what was happening) and I gotta say that this one is one of the most well explained ones, thank you!!
