This is so rare to come across such a no-BS author on TH-cam... I mean this gentleman simply gives out some of the best imaginable pieces of advice in such a simple an ready-to-use manner. This man is so underrated and is definately a gold. I only wish more TH-camrs were like Steven. I wish Steven the best in all of his endeavours - humble person and brilliant mind.
I will do that. But here is the basic workflow. Set up your camera. Your meter will give you a midpoint after you have set your ISO and your f./stop. Leaving the f/stop where it is, make exposures in thirds starting two stops under your midpoiint reading and going to two stops over your midpoint reading. 13 photos in all.
I hear a lot of hate that cellphone photos aren't photography, but don't blame the tool, these things are powerful. I just got a new iPhone and I found this morning I can keep it in raw, by default it goes back to jpg each time. Thanks Steven.
Well, Paul, I remember hearing the same thing abut digital capture vis a vis film. (It's never the wand; it's always the magician.) As for settings: (1) be sure your RAW is not x-ed out. (2) Then go to: SETTINGS>CAMERA>PRESERVE SETTINGS>PRO RAW should be activated. Leave settings. This should now make RAW the default format.
Thanks for your note. It would have been prohibitively expensive to issue the book in print form. However, any of the pages, like the workflows, can easily be printed.
I love your TH-cam Videos and your book. I have learned so much, especially about composition. Do you think you could do a video on how you do HDR? I go back and forth between blending ambient and flash and just using HDR. I would really like to make sure I am producing the best HDR images possible. Thank you.
Thank you for your note,Tom. I appreciate the kind remarks. My next video is going to be about HDR processing and the plug-in that I am now using. I hope by the end of the week.

Thank you so much for your kind words.
Excellent video! 🙌 thank you!
This channel is PURE GOLD! It really answers all of my questions and when I least expect it, there’s a video about it.
Thank you, Andrei.
Thank you for these videos! I don't quite understand bracketing that discussed. Could you make a video just on bracketing?

@@stevenbrookephotography thank you for the response. I will try this.

I don't have an Android, but I am certain that it would. Perhaps someone in the community using an Android will weigh in here.
Great information. I really like your TH-cam channel.
Thank you, Mike. Much appreciated.
I wish I see this video early, it's so great!
Thank you so much Prof. Brooke for your content. Just wondering if the ebook is also available in printed version. Thank you!
