I’m running a single turbo with haltech ecu and a excessive lower intake manifold. It takes a while to start up from cold, but when warm fires up straight away. Spoke to my mapper but he insists there’s not much he can do except from moving the injectors into the irons . Help would be appreciated. Thanks
Yessir. The primary injectors are as close to the combustion chamber as possible. The secondaries are up in the manifold maybe 8 inches from the engine
I think the primaries when in their correct placement actually have an atomiser on the inside of the injector port too. So that it changes the injector spray from a heavy liquid content to a more saturated vapour content to aid in firing on less . I doubt the injectors mounted up higher will have this cap type atomiser in the injector port and therefor will be having to fire on a very very liquid kinda of flood of fuel if that makes sense
@@RADPotential I cannot comment on running primaries in the Excessive LIM but my half bridge w/ pfc and stock primary rail would start fine with the IAC on. With the IAC unplugged, I'd have to give it gas to draw in more air or it wouldn't start.

Good video, I’m running a pfc in a 96 FD with single turbo. Thinking of changing to a link ecu. I have had the pfc for about 13 years.
I havent messed with those but I'd be interested to hear about your experience

So I'm green to the Rotary world.. There is injector ports on the iron and in the intake manifold???

Does the FD still have the IAC on the UIM? Usually that compensates for the lack of air on startup.
Yessir it does and it's hooked up. I can verify it's working!
