Both play control before opportunity attack. Shi yuqi is more trickshot but less precision. Lindan is more like perfection - beautiful clean front court shots, clean dives and high quality side line smashes but less trickshot
7:18 Is it me, or does Lin Dan always 'swing' twice before serve? Was this allowed in the past, or is it to small to be noticed? (or am I seeing things)
He swung once when his racquet is below the shuttle, but it doesnt count as the start of a serve. He only swung once when his racquet head is at the level of the shuttle which is when he 'starts serving'
Are you telling me this was 7 years ago and LD is now 41? wtf time flies
Lindan won the China National Games champion four times (2005 2009 2013 2017)
Lin D is legend of badminton ❤
lindan and lee chong wei ..
are the two best of this era...
VA is no match for them
@@1001001a why?
Woooow wt Master control by Dan. His measured foot work & perfect shot are awesome. He also played long rallys at 34 😮😮😮😮
Great play by both men and very entertaining viewing.
Thank you for posting this.
Lin dan double flow skill is really crazy

Doesnt matter as long as he doesnt do it when his racquet is behind the bird
@@azul1964 hmmm, other country, other rules?

You can pick up the shuttle and swing 10 times but doesnt mean you are starting to serve
That's weird, because in Belgium, once you swing, you start your serve
That's 32 for him...
more like shi proofs lin dan im your replacement
Finished watching 12:00
34 is still prime though lol
it's too old in this game especially for MS
❓I started to play badminton in 39, now I am 40. How long i need wait for my PRIME❓ 🤣
@@hyperarmbut you are not on the competition level, aren't you? LD was 34 in this video but still manages to win over his opponent😊
@@mangogangmo997 was once on one local competition only, so this was my peak 🤣🤣🤣
@@hyperarm No age too late for Badminton. Keep it up big brother 🙏🏻🙏🏻🫶🏻 respect you from pure heart
Shi Yu Qi are nothing in their era (Cheng Long, LCW, Lindan) but now, he behind VA hahah LOL . How weak the players in current era. Only VA sustained.
How would VA fare against CL, LCW and LD in their prime?
VA is not even close to LD either. It is because MS players are too weak in current era
