Hartford levels of talent. Seriously this song is hard enough to sing along to the beat alone like without even playing, yet you're doing both, levels and levels of talent.
To play and sing is a great talent. I'm learning bluegrass banjo picking and wondered how I would cope with loosing a finger as I'm a manual worker. You have an obvious disadvantage and you have still manage to be absolutely awesome. I'm amazed and impressed with your skill levels that puts more able people to shame.
That's great news, the world is a better place with more banjo. Keep at it; once you reach a certain comfort level on the rhythm stuff you'll be able to start incorporating singing too. I couldn't sing and play banjo at first either! As for the arm, I was born with it so know no different. Thank you for the kind words!
I was so excited when I first memorised Gentle on My Mind too! I could only play it on the Ukulele. Now I can play it in a gentle Scruggs style, but can't sing and pick it all at once just yet. Love your version, thanks for sharing🪕☕
