Originally I was going to have a friend of mine record me from third person but the view distance of the game was an issue, but still thanks @chrispyanitygaming for being willing to help out :D This video took a while to make, a lot of people asked for a huge base that would use up the entire bonfire circle, which this comes pretty close. I hope you enjoy the video as always, and I changed the way I did part of the floor plan just so I didnt need to call the video "20 minutes of watching someone place floor tiles" so tell me what you think of that part if you like it or dislike how it was done.

recently got back into soul mask and was looking for an End Game base location but, Wow just Wow I did not expect this level of detail in a video. Absolutely splendid job, like seriously.

Don't give up on this case. Of course, I understand that this is a matter of inspiration. Not just a beautiful or atmospheric base, but also, not least, functional. For example, a variant of bases for different levels of the game. Because, for example, at an early stage and at a late stage, I think there are completely different bases. If something is wrong with the text, then blame Google translator ;)
Love your builds, however. I wish when you give us a tour at the end you would go right up to the benches/tables etc so we could see exactly what is in each room

Been recreating this build on my server but in the bedroom area I can't get the beds that close against the wall. How did you manage it? There's like two-three feet between the wall and the bed when I try to place it.
I don't remember doing anything special for the beds, just moving slowly towards the wall and placing them as soon as it let me, the game was being updated very frequently when I was playing so possibly there was an update that changed the hit boxes.
@@ZerosterBuilds I did a bit of testing, apparently I can put it against the wall if I do it without the roof on. With the roof on it forces it back. After you get it against the wall then put the roof on you can still use the bed and have it flush against the wall. 😃
I built this with some settings changed, and I didn't place bonfires around the outside of the base because otherwise there would have been a bunch of distracting zone limit lines which would take away from the guide. normally you would need to build a temporary bonfire.
@@htmltp Personally I know If I was planning on making more farms I would use the outside area of the base as there is a little space at the front and back still within bonfire range, but I play in single player so I dont have to worry too much about doing that.
Not gonna lie - i totally also starting collecting the resource list in Once Human cuz it uses a similar grid system ;) This build is going to be the basis for a highlands fort in the snowy region as the walls really make me think of a mountain keep. Do you have any recommendations on how to figure out if you are gonna get pwned by the geometry during a build? I keep finding areas I think are good but then discovering that the last row of foundation are clipping into raised geometry
I tried out once human today, most likely going to post a building guide for it soon. and my best recommendation is build from the highest point and keep a hammer or two in your inventory for re-placing the foundation. unfortunately iv had trouble with getting the foundations in the right spot as well.
@@ZerosterBuilds who do we have to sponsor to get mods that allows builders to toggle the terrain mesh overlay on?! XD all we want to do is see where hidden terrain collisions are!
werll i had go at building this base i failed i went to the area u built ur base on but i found it far too hilly and the barriers wouldn't fit plus u couldn't build to near that portal
I had trouble with that as well, thats why at some parts I use 2 sets of foundations, and I did have to move this build once during the planning stage because of the portal thing.
@@ZerosterBuilds i finally done ur build i had to tweak it as i couldn't build the gate like u did. and where u had the animal pen i hada corn clump of ground so solution was to place some flooring under it so the walls could fit.. but i happy with the build i tried looking for really flat piece of ground but only area i found where in a higher level and i didn't want to go there yet. but awesome build i might not do the inside as you done it but it functional i also done a pyrimid base not sure if i be using that one, as it feels too big for soloing
I like the visual of wood for flooring when it comes to homes. and it gave a very good visual marker for people re-creating the base. as well, if I placed the wood from the start the floor plan phase would have been much much longer and a lot less interesting to watch for anyone watching to just chill and watch someone build.

Just started playing this game and this looks really awesome, I am hoping to get to the stage to build something like this. That being said the interior looks a bit bare, does Soulmask offer many options in terms of interior decor or pretty limited?
Its reasonably limited, interior design isnt really my strong suit id say, but most furniture is functional, a few tables and chairs, some trophies, but past that not much.
the worst thing about building in this game is placing barriers. I always struggle with proper placing outer walls so the properly align with base foundation
Why does it look at the end of the video so much bigger? i build it and its so much smaller, it doesent even fit evrything on it. and i build it exactly like you
Im not entirely sure, I gave exact messurements in each step, so everything should fit. as for looking smaller, if your playing on higher fov it might appear smaller. but everything should fit if you followed all the steps.
Yo vid is awesome but PLEASE where on the map did you build this I struggled ages trying to find a place that fits well cause of all the hills, also think my head exploded cause of the walls lmao i just could get it right.

yup :P id say most people will have larger bases because it takes a long time to turn these into guides. the actual build maybe takes a day to get right, then I destroy it and rebuild it from memory and / or screenshots. so the bigger and more complex I go, the harder to make a useful guide it becomes.
Its very Conan Exiles in its way of building..... which is not bad.... I kinda like the tribe society, rather then Conan Exiles in that, you are all my slaves, listen to me or die....
the building is late game ready, but I wasn't using steel armour just for fall damage to be chipping away at it when I fall from getting the high video shots :P I also beat the ape in bronze armour, so I never felt the need to switch til later.
i am having trouble keeping enerything with in one bonfire range, is it possible to have multiple bonfire to cover a mega base and tribesman are able to work between these bone fires with out range issue?
I was wondering the same thing as one bonfire cannot stop the building decay, unless, you turn off building decay. One can also use multiple bonfires as well, but, the coverage is wonky at best and then you have followers going to either of the bonfires for comfort/rest. Not sure why the developers made the bonfire circular instead of square for it's boundaries. Round bonfires=round range of coverage. meh, they could of made it square.

thats something I may start doing in future videos, I always have trouble finding the right pace so that its not too slow for people and not too fast.

How you have range for the fire protect the base? I want to build this in a official server but idk if all the area is protected
as long as the fire is built in the centre of the 15 x 17 area it fits, only barely on the corners but it fits.

The walls are pretty rough just due to there being no snap points, I had to re-record that section of the video a few times.
@ZerosterBuilds I actually exited from the game. Went for food and rest. After I loged back on they snaped from the 1st go. :D

I put the location at 2:00 in the video, unfortunately thats why I used 2 layers of stone floors, because flat land is hard to find in soulmask,

not really, there is some extra room within the bonfire circle at the sides and north of the wall.
