in 2016 I would say this was vei 1 eruption due to the steam and ash ejected but it looked like this 2016 eruption was phreatic or geothermal these earthquakes that were felt mean there is movement in the underlying magma chamber of Kanlaon but still, if the volcano is in unrest there is a chance of another eruption or maybe another eruption larger than the first one
