    I just bought D7100.. am a lazy person to read manuals, this upload save my sanity. THANK YOU so so much for this "spoken manual".

    This is literally my absolute first Nikon! It was gifted to me, first thing I spent 39 minutes figuring was how to back button focus and now I'm trying to figure out how to turn off the stupid exposure preview. So far I'm impressed with this camera

    Excellent, Ralf! I’ve owned a D7100 for 4 years, and yet I learned new things from your video (using the Fn button to set the horizon in the viewfinder, for example). Thank you for a very helpful video!

    Ralfs Foto-Bude, Thank you for this informative info.I just received my D7100 in the mail this past weekend. Was intimidating for sure with all the buttons, dials, screen info. and the thick Nikon Manuel that I have been reading. I look forward to more of your videos. again... Thanks!

      Sounds like you want a hands on tutorial on how to use your camera. Read the manual, check out some TH-cam videos. Basically put some work into learning your camera. This will help you out in the end.

    I have really loved this video on photography and Nikon D7100 tricks. I have been using D3200 and D5000 for some times now. But I got a D7100 as a Birthday gift from my daughter and the setting are slightly different. This video has done great as the operation manual that came with the camera was totally confusing. Thank you

    I upgraded from D300s to D7100 and this video helped me to shorten the learning curve. It would be really great if you can do a video on recommended lenses for D7100. Thank you for this excellent overview.

    • @dusanpetkovic89
      @dusanpetkovic89 11 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm also planning to upgrade from D300s to D7100 so I would like to know what is your experience with D7100? Are you satisfied with it's performances?
      tnx

    • @salalkarim3837
      @salalkarim3837 11 ปีที่แล้ว

      Petkovic Dusan Yes I am very satisfied with the IQ of the D7100. The only thing where D300s is better than D7100 is the buffer size for continuous shooting mode (you read about this in lots of review); apart from this D7100 is an excellent camera in every way. As I do wildlife, macro, nature and landscape photography, this camera serves my need best compared to FX camera. Also it's lighter than D300s so easy to travel with.
      If you are like one of those who are concerned about high ISO noise then you will be pleased with the ISO performance of D7100 over D300s. However, high ISO performance is not a criteria for me to buy a camera, and nor for many of my pro photographer colleagues.
      Since you are planning to upgrade to D7100 please do also consider getting a good lens to get the most out of D7100 (if you already don't have one). I suggest you read the review on Dxo Mark - link provided below.
      Which lens for D7100? Very good review from Dxo Mark:
      www.dxomark.com/en/Reviews/Best-lenses-for-the-24-Mpix-Nikon-D7100-Wide-angle-and-primes-and-zooms.
      Good luck

    Lol...it does sound like "out of focus", instead of autofocus but, no big deal. Very nice video. Watched it until the end. Got some great tips. I especially liked the one at the end about assigning the function key for the artificial horizon in the viewfinder. Just now set my 7100 function key to exactly that. Thank you!

    Thank you, very helpful video. Which lenses do you recommend for the D7100? I have the 35mm f1.8. I am prepared to spend more, to get a lens that will do the D7100 justice. Pref one multi purpose lens, but all the zooms I've looked at, seem to have less than stellar reviews. Would like to be able to capture far away scenes/objects, and general walking around shooting street scenes, people whatever... May have to settle for either a not so fantastic zoom, or walking around with 2 or 3 lenses?

    Congratulations for the video. Well I've a Nikon D7100 and I noticed that the lights indicator at the bottom of the viewfinder (inside the camera not in the display) are not lighting enough, too much weak and I prefer using that reading than take out the camera of my face to check in the display, what I mean, is there a possibility to increase the lights to get it better??
