Your video tutorials are so helpful and much easier than trying to wade through the manual. I have already recommended them to others in a photography group for Nikon D7100 users, many like me are new to this camera. It looks like there may only be 4 of your tutorials so really hope you do some more and I really appreciate the time you must have put in to create these. Thank you so much.
Hi Sally, I am really glad that the videos are useful and thank you for recommending them. There is a playlist of the videos related to the D7100 here is the link for you: th-cam.com/play/PLg6iC885wzNIku-B3cPrGTCebAWQq6rhA.html Thank you for watching, have fun, Dave.
Thanks for doing this. Your definitions and explanations are spot on and easy to understand. I've seen parts 1 through 4 and hope part 5 is coming soon
Superb....Thanks for easing me into the intricacies of my D7100, newly acquired. Have been a Nikon lover since 1985...The FG, FA and the D5000 remain part of my camera bag.
Hi Dave, Thanks so much for detailed slow instructions on how to use the D7100! This is my first camera with a Tamron 18-400mm / F 3.5-6.3 lens that I purchased, and have found it quite overwhelming to understand. I'm going on a 10 trip to Joshua Tree National Park, and I'm looking forward to taking some beautiful day pics, but especially night shots. Hopefully you have tutorials on shooting the nights sky. Thank you! Gregory
Hi Gregory, no problem at all, I am glad the videos are useful. Living in London there is not much opportunity for night photography, I do have some videos on photographing the Moon. Best advice is put the camera on a tripod, use a wide aperture f:2.8/f:5.4 and experiment with your shutter speeds, start around 10 seconds and see if you need for more or less time. Enjoy Joshua Tree. Thank you for watching, have fun, Dave.
very helpful. I could use a little more instruction on the Auto Exposure seetings on. How do the front and rear wheels adjust with out using the Exposure button?
Hi Mike, unfortunately there is only an On or Off option for the image review. You can set a display time for when you press the play button. Thanks for watching, have fun, Dave.
