I know Darren must be sick of hearing this, but the mixing of the HSCC songs is on another level. It's the gold standard that others need to live up to. My own mixes don't cut it after hearing the HSCC ones, gives me something to strive for!

My God! Hard to describe everything that's great in this one. It all sounds so precise, so beautiful. A labor of love with arrangements, tone and dynamics. Great brass section, perfect keyboard, guitar lines. Awesome pocket! Remarkable vocals, both lead and backing! And I can't stress it enough, which I do every time by the way: your percussionist is pure gold. Really hard to find a percussionist like him. This is the fifth cover I'm watching in 30 minutes. Man! How big IS this band?? :-) I'm a fan! I totally love the way you guys (& girls) stay true to the original versions of the songs. Most other bands do 'their own rendition' but most of the times that just means 'Hey...we're not fit to level the original'. All audio mixes are perfect as well.
