Installing a Detachable Drivers Seat Backrest on my Can Am Spyder F3T

I have waited a long time for this backrest to be available and have finally got it. Im not sure if I ever really needed it but I was very happy with the one I had gotten for my Ryker. In this video I'll show you what you get for the ridiculously high price you have to pay and how to install it and what tools you will need. While installation was strait forward and very easy I'll show you some things to look out for and other things of interest while your fiddling around the back of the trike. While my after installation trip was short it was very promising. The audio is a little wonky as for some reason it goes from stereo to mono and i don't know why but its all clear . I appreciate the comment . Luckily was is a real simple install. I sometimes watch videos and they skip over stuff thats in front of them and i’mlike whats that thing and that one. When you take stuff off or open it might as well give it a spay.

Glad it helped . Took me forever to get the backrest ,it has been on back order forever . As you can see it’s easy to put in. You might also find the handlebar install video helpful as well as I find they work well together for me.

Nice job. I had a tad of difficulty getting the bracket bolt into the clippie up front. Didn't quite line up well. That was my only PITA moment. A bit of pressure at a weird angle and got it in.

Yea it’s really a 5 min installation . If you cut my narration, explanation and filming it would have been a real simple install and well worth it. I have had it for a few months now and it has made a world of difference. Would have had it sooner but it was back ordered for a long time.

I have the same one, is it adjustable?

It’s only adjustable in terms of the tilt of the backrest. It does tilt both forward and backward . There is no actual adjustment for hight or forward and back.
