Very good advice. I agree with all of it. I personally hate running shoes with anything other than jeans or jogging outfits, but that is me. One thing that makes all these looks you assembled so beautiful and pulled together is the high quality of each item. Curating each piece as you add it to your overall wardrobe has enabled you to assemble a lot of different mix and match looks. Loved this, Alice.
I love matching my bag, shoes and belt, if any. I like “matchy-matchy”, it’s timeless and elegant. It was out of style for a long time, but I completely ignored that weird “rule”. Especially If I’m wearing a pattern or other more statement item, I don’t want to have competing “stars” in my outfit, wearing matching accessories quiets them down and puts them in the background. A little simplicity goes a long way, what could be simpler than wearing all one-color accessories?
