Passed by it earlier whilst looking at the offshore wind turbine jack up barge, saw the green boom, and here I am! Got a site visit once in Clearways, they've some set up, you should hear the frag hammers when they're in full tilt!

The plant in cork no longer has the ability to
process it fully after ispat closed its steel plant in cork many years ago to keep the market share in the scrap metal business clearway has a plant in ringaskiddy in cork very close to the port and ship frag/ traction by the boat load usually to Belfast to be fully processed

Rick C Id actually love to know myself as I thought they only put material out. It’s a scrapyard and the material may be shredded metal.

Waste product from scrap cars etc ,the Belfast plants puts the waste through its machine to process any scrap material left behind

I think the scenery up it the background COULD be Ireland BUT I doubt we would be brining in shredded scrap🤔😂 so I don’t know why but I’m thinking Belfast or somewhere in Scotland 🤔

@@AwesomeEarthmovers 😂 I've actually never been to Belfast port!! Don't know why they'd need shredded scrap though 🤔😁

Jason Collins I’ve only ever seen them load boats. I’ve no idea why they are taking scrap in.

Waste product still contains shredded scrap ,Belfast plant has the machine needed to process the scrap from the waste

Phantomrider diesel electric. I think they recover energy when the boom is dropped as well.
