If you charge $5 for each fix then you can earn only in multiples of $5 i.e $5, $10,$15 and so on
You can't earn non multiples of $5 like for example $7 or decimals like for example $10.15
Since you said you earned $864.65 it's a decimal so some one ripped you off 35cents which would have made your gains=$865 which is a multiple of $5
as an electrican be careful to fix with power off and to follow exact cable when u opened it take a picture if u have to

There is a reason to put metal shield from the metal case and cable shielding. It is bonding and grounding for radiated emission.

I thought the same thing but I believe the housing has small conductive pins which pierce the plastic. I do not believe they need to be stripped.

Looking everywhere trying to fix a charger that is not physically broken, it’s a dud but I need it. Nobody knows how to solve this??
I have an electronic that when plugged in to supposedly charge light turns on but battery meter stays same no charging movement and when plugged in for hours no difference in battery meter so thinking need to buy another one similar from different seller on eBay. @@74Voyeur Have fun... sometimes its easier and cheaper to buy a new one or atleast the connectors. Besides if a cable is damaged to this point the overal health of this cable is low. That means that after the repair it will break much sooner. Did that a lot but in the long run it was just not worth it. But everyone is alowed to make their own experiences. So go one and have fun.

I have bought over 150 Apple sync cords. They are horribly designed. I never use them to sync data. I only use them to charge phones. Can the two wires that handle data be cut leaving only the two power wires?
Apple has made tens of billions by selling cables that are designed to fail. They even put chips in the cables to try to stop third party cables from being used. I get those ‘accessory is compatible’ messages even from genuine Apple cables. Apple is corrupt.

1) They are expensive in some countries
2) Sometimes you really need your cable to plug something, you don't have another one and it's middle of the night, no stores open
3) People enjoy fixing things on their own instead of just replacing.
Being honest, the focusing problems and the edit cuts made it hard to follow closely. Also the brain-melting music and the disgusting fungus under your fingernails were very off-putting. However your desire to help people with this video is good.
Did not even finish watching it, but I rather just go buy another cable. Just too much effort for such a simple thing
