    Idk where Bluffton is, never been to IN, but I sure enjoyed the notes, and history lesson. Thank you for sharing.

    What's cool about those is that they are signed by John Studabaker.The Studebaker family made wagons in South Bend.The Studebaker House,built in 1882,is reported as being haunted

      I love the history!! Studebaker was the man of the area. He was well known and well respected. I truly believe though I haven't read it from primary source documentation yet, but I believe the reason all these Bluffton notes are so heavily circulated is that they were the first form of currency that was used in Wells County shortly after its founding. Studebaker's general store would have essentially served as a bank where someone with these bills could exchange them for goods of choice. This would have made them basically as good as US coinage.

    Patriots needed tomorrow morning @6:30 am @Carnegie's in Bluffton, Indiana or all the small businesses that are same and respective of personal rights are likely o be shutdown and lost... Please, they need your help! If you cannot attend ask someone who might! Cheers and Blessings!
