Jai Gange | Chitra Visweswaran

Jai Gange - an ode to the river Ganga, is a unique composition, that comprises 2 parts - Pravahanjali, a composition of Sri R Visweswaran and the Ganga Kavuthvam, a composition of Smt Chitra Visweswaran. An interesting anecdote is that Smt Chitra Visweswaran penned this Kavuthvum while attending SNA meetings in Delhi .... during a break between meetings, inspiration struck and she penned these lyrics, gave it form and presented it a few days later at the inauguration of the Ganga Mahotsav in Varanasi.
