i've lost count how many times i've watched this and still get amazed how realistic every scenes are huhuhu from their lovey-dovey moments (kissing scenes 🙈), how everyone feels like a real family and so on. also sad that this ep is young yushu's final appearance but really love the older yushu too (when 2 yushu meet really made me cackling lmao, they both speak the same way hahah). Really the best drama ever!!

I cried everytime I watched this series, nowadays it's so hard to find a genuine love like what XiangQin and Zhishou have.
You know, I'm so jealous with zhishou to think that he's already a genius and good looking guy but to have someone like XiangQin, someone who loves you sincerely,so loyal to you who listens to you and cares for you, what a fortunate guy. And XiangQin is so lucky too, to have someone who knows how to adjust so that He can understands you,to push your limit to discover your capabilities and to have someone to share your dreams with.💔
I want to applaud again, how natural this series is. They laugh and converse just like how normal people does (especially in the reunion part). Unlike in other dramas where every action is literally scripted and their faces are somewhat robotic 😅 I also like that this series was recorded in an era where you can see true skin and normal appearances. Today's drama is focusing so much in beauty, so much filter, unfixed hair or having pimples is ugly. How I miss the old era of shows.
We have exactly the same observation about how annoying
the actors (in this generation) act on camera. I hate their animated unnatural facial expressions and some even try to copy other's style of acting they must have watched in the past before them. No originality. The Taiwanese actors of the 90's until the early 2000s are still the best even up to this day. Aside from their natural talent, they're all naturally pretty and handsome. No plastic surgery.

At first, yeah it's charming to watch and adore, but if you watch every countries producing the same genre of movies and dramas, example "too serious with no emotion CEO + very poor but surprisingly flawless and beautiful heroine" then it becomes tiring to the eyes and becomes too detaches from reality.
Exxaccctllyyyyy... the show hits home because of having been shot in that era. Plus whenever they break character and keep those outtakes, it makes the scenes even more real..

ZS rlly gives me the feels that i wanna feel with the other ML of every version of this drama. He's more expressive than the other version of him, and the fact that they gave us his own side amd his own thoughts, this just made me love this drama even more.
You should see the Thai version he's very expressive in that.

@@iqqyhassan2339In my opinion, the Thai version of Naoki feels very watered down. That's why I feel that Zhi shu is superior, because he is expressive but doesn't lose the essence of Naoki. The character is very well crafted.
I haven't finished the episode yet but I have to say Zhi Shu hair is making me laugh a lot, he looks like a little chicken with all the feathers in every direction, super cute 😂😂😂

Even after all these years I still get mad a Zhi Shu for not discussing his decision with Xiang Qin before hand. Totally get why he did it the way he did but man he still had a lot to learn about being in a relationship. This will forever be my favorite version ever. It truly shows there growth as characters.

@@sharonraiprakash8625 I think he knew what her reaction would be and that he would back down straight away if he discussed it with her. Let's be honest, XQ relies on him A LOT, he knew she would not want him to go, he does listen to her a lot and seeing her upset would triggered him. We see this: he backs down straight away seeing her reaction and immediately switch plans to try to take him with him (which would not have been good for her).
Also, I doubt she would have been able to prepare herself, but rather be depressed for the entirety of the time before he had to leave.
Also, ZS somewhat seems to make his life plans all on his head and always assumes XQ would go with it (which to be fair, she does). Even when he says he wants to marry her, he had everything planned out in his head as to when, how, where, but it was disrupted by his mom. @@sharonraiprakash8625

Yu shu is kinder and more expressive than Zhisu hahaha. Whereas Xiaomei is the exact opposite of Xiangqin when it comes to expressing her feelings. She is so shy and timid so she needs pushing from XQ and mother Jhang 😄

The answer to that is complicated. Originally, there was a published manga that they were both based on. That resulted in an anime.
An original live Japanese version was made in the 90s and this version was (I think) the next live one made. Then all of the other live versions including the second Japanese version were made after this one.

Yes! She's so insecure due in part to his not making her feel secure. He demeans her and laughs at others mocking her. Also, why don't they wear wedding rings? They're not in a profession where it would be an issue.

This is the the only drama that I can watch over and over and over and over again. I can't even count the times I watched TKA. But as for ISWAK, I think 3 times only. 1 with the national tv & twice when internet and youtube was introduced. 🤣 TKA has been my perfect escape from reality since 2008. How long has it been already? But the feels it brought me are still the same.

Jiang mama and Xiangqin really think alike 😂. Kinda sad because they changed the actor of Yun Shu even though the plot calls for it. Personally I think the chubby Yun Shu can still portray the adolescent Yun Shu. Because viewers can really notice how much he matures right for season 1 up to this.

The first birthday card and gift she made for his birthday , the lucky charm she made for his university exam , also the first love letter she wrote for him during their senior high days. He said he treasured it and looks at it when he got tired from work as an inspiration

I bet XQ is the main reason why he wants to be better, he doesn't want to disappoint her and just wants the best for their future. That's what I love about this story so much, the way they help each other realize their dreams and push each other to grow on their chosen professions
