How can the husband not investigate the pretentious lady claiming to be his wife? What's her background and why was she doing it against his wife? It's only near the end that he thought of doing that. He should have at least supported his wife secretly if not in plain sight. And he should have at least known what was happening inside his company at least. What kind of CEO doesn't even know what's happening inside his turf? Let's just say she wanted to hide her identity, so that she will be able to know the secret (ins and outs) or the trade inside his company.
