One thing I always wondered was - when the show started, did they always intend for Juliette to forget at the end of season 1, or was it that they hadn't planned things out and they decided they needed to take a fresh start in order to get somewhere good.

As Nick has had to say a few times to Bud & others "they're not married." 🙂 It would be a weird situation for Juliette to be in, to have this man there telling her they were in love & living together & having no memory of him specifically. With Nick giving her longing looks it would be quite confusing.
This episode is pretty good. The side stories need to change. The royals do not know about the key so the agent does not make any sense. Adalind meeting with the Royals to inform them of the key and telling them she has a plan to get in for them would be good in this episode. Bud letting Juliet know about Nick being a GRIMM without telling her what that really means will make Juliet very curious since she only seems to have forgotten Nick and no-one else. In my version it does not take Juliet long to learn what a GRIMM is and what Wesen are. She is much too smart to remain in the dark once she wants to know something.
