My first wedding was 2k(USD). Flowers picked from local area. Sheet cake enough for everyone. Pizza and pot-luck(bring your best dish). Music was our(hers and mine) favorite music played on boom box. We had fun and it was cheap, but classy. The venue was closed, until after the wedding, then opened for our guest to choose where to sit. So everyone had 5min or less to choose their seats. Everyone was jealous of how easy and quick the whole thing was. Bringing their own food allowed people to eat what they liked. Best wedding ever.

Claire Coffee is so great as Adalind because she makes you sympathize with someone who should be seen as a villain, but just you wait.

This really is a glorious episode, so many little "Oh my god!" moments when you (we) realise what's about to happen, I think part of what let them have these sorts of episodes is the slightly slower nature of the show as it allows them to have crescendo episodes like this. As for having a soft spot for Adalind, she's a bit of a Spike like character is some ways as you know she's evil, but you can't help but like her.

Same. I've always considered Adalind to be the Spike of Grimm, which ironically puts Juliette in the Angel role.

This was my favorite episode, when it aired. Love Adelaide(spelling?), redemption arch, she's come a long way.

I saw you wrote (spelling?) So if you were asking if that's how you spell it, it's (Adalind).

It's a small world in the Grimm universe, everything happened around Portland, and came back to Nick.
But storywise, it is actually revolved around Renard, remember Adalind was originally hired to solve the Grimms problem (Nick and his aunt) by him, and they came back now, also because of Renard's arrangement (even without Nick's mom, sooner or later, Renard would likely arrange them back to him anyway), and all the drama to get the key was also Renard pushing behind the scene. Renard is the actual center in this.

Adalind has always been my favorite, even when she was just a pawn in her mother's and Renard's hands. Love her.

Like many have said this was a great episode that advanced the plots considerably with the return of Kelly to protect the baby and intersecting the threads by bringing Adalind/baby to Nick's, and noting the progression/change of the Adalind character as like you mentioned, that becoming a mother obviously affected her, even though she's been on the wrong side for so long, And FINALLY we get an answer as to how Wessen know how Nick is a Grimm.... there had long been speculation that maybe it's a glow/aura, but it makes sense as he/they have to be looking at each other when Woged(sp?) that it's in Nick's eyes for them to notice.... (just wish that they could've given us a taste or a drawing of what that would look like, but perhaps it wasn't in the efx budget.... lol)... But it definitely will be interesting to see where things go from here with all of these developments... But great reaction to a great ep, D! You get a CTU from me today! Keep em coming!

This needed to be episode 16. My telling of this story is better because we have already seen some of the ways Diane is special and we understand Adalind's attachment to her daughter comes from her new Hexenbiest spirit. The episode should start with the Royal's agents closing in on Adalind. They burst into her motel room with guns already drawn. Diane's eyes glow and the 2 agents shot each other int he head. Adalind grabs Diane and leaves quickly. Adalind tells Diane that Diane's father will know what to do. Adalind will repeat this several times to her daughter in a few scenes where she stops at places for food, drink, and fuel as she travels back to Nick's city. The senior agent that is on the Royal's payroll is exposed by the 2 agents getting killed in Adalind's motel room. Diane now appears to be about 2 1/2 years old. The Royal has his head of security "retired" for his failures. Once it is determined where Adalind is going the Royals board a plane with a bunch of their people. A GRIMM "Nick's mother" is sent to Nick's city to kill Sean and Adalind. The Royal can then claim the child as its nearest living relative. Nick's mother arrives at Nick's house and Adalind arrives at Sean's house introducing him to his daughter before passing out.

Yay.. only one more episode until the show, for me, went from great to WOW. EP 3x19 is what I am so curious seeing you react to it. And it makes me miss it watching this show. So I blame you for my nostalgia 😁

The smart thing would be to have additional sunglasses in pockets and in cases for glasses. If he loses his glasses, close his eyes and pull out another pair.
Adalind is not the villain. Adalind is just misunderstood. :)

Or swimming goggles. They have straps so they won't fall off. They can be tinted. The small goggles that professional swimmers use.

@@kilian-one-l So? The safety of everyone is more important than looks or taste. The easier solution would be to tell everyone that Nick is a Grimm instead of hiding that fact. They do make straps for sunglasses, so they won't fall off during rigorous exercise or activities. ✌️☮️

"I'm not evil; I'm just misunderstood," -every villain ever.
Seriously, Adalind is not the worst of villains, and she has changed now that she has a baby, but she is responsible for the choices she's made, just like everyone else.

lo que se viene es impresionante. los dos capítulos que se aproximan me decepciono la doble moral que manejaron los protagonistas.
