I have a drum dial, and it has pressure settings for coated non coated heads. how about hydraulic oil based heads?

Is 85 standard for all of the drums, like the toms, floor toms, bass and snare?

No. I only used 85 as an example because I typically tune my drum set snare in that range. Your range may vary based on the size of the drum and the sound you are aiming for. When you purchase a drum dial, there will be a small diagram inside that will give you suggestions based on the diameter and depth of your drum. The only important thing is that the number is the same from lug to lug because that means the drum head is in tune with itself.

Do you have any links to Drum Dials that you would recommend as reliable?

Absolutely! Drum Dial is actually a brand of fine tuners. They make two different models, an analog version and a digital version. Both are very reliable and accurate. The only difference between the two is one has a clock-style dial and the other has an electronic screen. I have added a link to both models in the description for the video. Thanks for your question!
