I'll be 100% honest: I understand where the korean girls are coming from. We all know these entertainment companies put lots of money and time into their MVs. It's a mini-production of sorts, just under 5 minutes. American pop is different stylistically, and sometimes the videos are just for fun and not meant to be taken seriously. So basically, they just don't get it. A few of the girls' reactions put me off, but I DO understand. That said, I also understand that Americans are the EXACT SAME WAY when they view kpop videos. So it kind of goes both ways
The girl in the grey and black shirt actually paid attention and gave thought before she responded. The others just didn't get it but they will when they idols start doing the same dance because that what Korean idols performance come from is America and America music mainstream is HIP HOP....It cheap because they didn't change location? it a video not a movie...
