That projection dock: Wouldn't that overheat the Switch. I don't know about that particular projector, but the bulbs projectors use, tend to be extremely hot. To the point where they tend to have their own active cooling and you generally wouldn't want to use them near devices that are sensitive to heat. Such as a sealed, passively cooled Nintendo Switch that probably already runs at it's thermal limits under full load. I mean just look at that thing. The bulb is practically right up against the back of that Switch. I have a background in A/V and computing. I have been building computers (including gaming rigs) for over 20 years. From my own experience, I would not feel comfortable putting my Switch in that thing without more information about how it protects the Switch.
that's what I had to do, I have the hori split pad pro though it was too big and I only have one joycon so I have to play with half split pad and half hori left joycon
I use to use hori split pad, and different carrying cases and controllers and it all got out of hand. Last 6 months I upgraded to oled and just use it hand held with joycons, with a tomtoc thin case. I like the portability and actually using my switch as a switch
I’ve bought so many accessories and cases for my 2017 switch. Then last year I upgraded to the OLED and then none of those accessories worked. Then I bought the split pad pros, but now it’s too big to fit in my old cases. Just for the hell of it I purchased the Gengar compact split pad pros. 😂
I don't think any controller is comfortable split handed sadly because I think if you made a controller design specifically for split-handed no sliding on to the side of any systems or anything like that that it would be the most comfortable controller ever. With that being said I still use the Bin Bok (NYXI) Joy Cons because they have rumble (not hd) and motion controls vs the split pad pro.
I used to have the Hori Split Pads but found them too huge and uncomfortable. I have arthritis in my hands and after a few hours it's painful. Ended up getting a Satisfye Grip which makes the Switch amazing to hold. Also for controllers, I used to have few wired Switch controllers but just have a Pro controller and a Rival Labs controller.
OK those little NES cart Switch game holders are so unnecessary but SO cool. I need some. Can anyone link me? I’m disappointed there’s no links to any of this stuff in the description! :(
hey Kevin love the video, was wondering if you would revist the "smaller" switch docks as skull & co's jumpgate dock is claimed to not brick switches anymore.
How would you use it to play single joycon style? You'd have to get one of those controllers you slot the switch into if you want that old (Wii u) layout.
"I made it mario" but not the joycons, or the joycon charger, or the dock.....so not mario at all, just a red stand that matchs a red body, yep really mario

The new NYXI Wizard GameCube controller… you need that in your crazy accessories life!
I just use the OLED Switch with the Skull n co grip

Why did this depress me.
Im still loving my Pikachu split pad pro. It’s just the closest to a real controller on the go. No need to use anything else.
I am seriously in love with the new thinner split pad controllers. Got it about two weeks ago and it’s been on my OLED Switch since.
I would pay good money for a version of the hori split pad with HD rumble
I thought it was gonna be a little crazier tbh, so liked it
This is like a compilation of all your Switch accessories videos. Freakin sweet.

LOOOOOOOL😭
my satisfye grip is all i have for my switch oled. but it is amazing and i love it just wish it could be docked without removing it.
Definitely worth getting as I have two of them. One for Switch Lite and original Switch.
@@Psmgamer I heard it's a tight fit with pressure and that's bad having to remove and put it on over and over
@@InnerRise
I never removed mine and it certainly is a tight fit. Only thing is it scratching the paint on the back of the Switch.
@@Psmgamer oh no 😱
Skip✌🏿

I had the same problem. Then I sold everything but my HORI accessories. Best decision ever.
Still waiting for a Switch Lite accessories video...
