SFS is how I got into KSP.
I had SFS in its very early days on Android. Was looking for tutorial videos on TH-cam and was getting pissed off with KSP videos showing up instead. Watched one by mistake (think it was a Marcus House one), downloaded the game that very night. Addicted ever since.
same when i got addicted to sfs alot of ksp videos got recommended i decided to give ksp a chance ane now i cant stop watching ksp voids (my laptop sucks so it probably cant run ksp)

Me too, I know just only playing SFS but later I saw KSP in yt then I somehow installed it and at first, because I was a sfs player I didn't understand how to even activate an engine in KSP. So I got into training for a while and now after a year of playing ksp, I am on the mun.😂🤣😊

For me Matt Lowne's KSP videos just auto played since I was playing sfs and watching TH-cam at the same time. I later got it for Christmas and is the game I've been looking for my whole life
I remember I made a cool space station with all the docks with small rockets which could land on any planets and moons then I shifted to ksp.

I play this simulator a lot and it actually started out as a mobile only game. And a long time ago, it did have a electrical system, but it is being overhauled right now. Really fun game. Looking foreward to some new updates and content!
But the textures and quality were weird + low.
The aerodynamics are peak performance 👏
The music that started at 5:53 and ended at 7:14 reminded me of Interstellar. I was so touched...
Once you get into BP editing it can be a lot of fun. I have 2 abandoned sfs videos who's crafts look really cool. One was a fully reusable 2 stage to orbit based off of SERV and that S-IVB SSTO, and the other one was a similar scale to Project Andoria, Project Thor. Needed about 20 launches to put 4.5 thousand tonnes of spacecraft into LEO and then to Jupiter! Also it was on mobile, don't have the pc version.
bp editing is also pretty fun to mess around with
launch yourself to proxima centauri with a single seperator? sure you can do that
SFS used to have a working electric system, but that has since been removed to be added back at a later date, those games that still have bps of builds with batteries or RTGS now have them replaced with greys versions of them that don't have power.

Once in sfs I was testing a lander and ofc something goes wrong and the rover I put at the top of it crashed into everything and survived.
LOL SFS. A fitting game, and of course you have to go BIG.
You can land-ish on the sun, with infinite fuel and no heat damage. I can't tell is you burn up because of "atmospheric temperature" or excessive drag because even with 27:1 thrust to weight the Sun's gravity is too much. Any way, the rocket I "landed" got tossed about hundreds of kilometers by what appeared to be "surface current".
10/10 would recommend.
Bro I will give a little advice, to go to a planet, moon and satellite, you should set "Navigate to" first and don't forget to also continue to follow the directions of the navigation system, such as setting the speed needed to reach the target and so on.
Ahh okay. I dove in pretty quickly, missed that feature, basically an auto maneuver node, that's neat. Thanks.

Great video! I saw Spaceflight Simulator recommended somewhere, and I was wondering if it was any good. Now I know it's Simplerockets 1, but slightly worse. Could be good in the future though.

In older versions there IS electricity and battery to store electricity and using motor wheels use up electricity and the solar panel charges up the battery

I've actually done some pretty fun things on Spaceflight Sim on mobile. I got a crew to the moon and back, and landed a probe on Mercury.
I made a gigantic moon base 😎
i did alot of stuff like a space station, a fuel station in mars orbit so building a mars base is easier, and close attempts to landing on venus and coming back

Yes, the game is simple. I made the exact same comparison as 2d ksp when I first played it. Sure you can do things you can’t do in sfs in ksp (such as build a plane with wings (you can still build planes that use engines to hover)) the game used to have an electrical system but they deleted it for some reason (maybe to rework it?) but if you don’t have a pc it’s a fun game until you get one. You are much more limited (smaller fuel tanks, limited build area, etc) but you can still have bases on other planets, I have one on the moon and I’m preparing one for mars and Venus, mercury is very difficult to reach I have an orbiter around everything (except the Sun) it’s so difficult to reach mercury using free parts that my standard apoapsis for mercury is just below the point where you leave the sphere of influence. It’s free on mobile.
