As a mobile player on SFS, Jupiter is the hardest planet to fall into without burning up, and it's 4 major moons to land on. Imagine doing that on PC. 💀

He understands acceleration but what he's probably talking about is how the acceleration is increased even more at the end of the tank because of how the Tsiolkovsky equation works, which means that the rocket has growing acceleration during its burn.
No, firstly because he used timewarp, and also it really just isnt as hard because ethics dont apply to SFS since theres no simulated astronauts and there arent morals if you crash rockets, its really not as hard
. its easier obviously, timewarp is just time so that doesn't change difficulty, but still there's not that much difficulty change if were saying that it is a test flight for each.

A couple things I noticed when I tried to build a space station in realistic mode. They made everything realistic that makes the game harder, but didn't give us any higher thrust engines. Although the engines in the game may have realistic thrust, you have to realize real life is 3D, and you can place multiple engines around each other in a circle, so real life rockets usually have upwards of 6-8 engines on their bottom stage. The saturn V, which to my knowledge is the biggest rocket ever launched, had 5. We only get one or two per fuel tank. However, we still have to deal with realistic air resistance and gravity, which makes it seem so unfair and costly in fuel. If they gave us higher thrust engines to simulate the 3D placement of multiple engines under the same fuel tank, it'd be much easier to get to orbit. Another thing is fuel. Watching the recordings of old rocket launches, I noticed that even with proportional sizes of fuel tanks to engine, the rockets in real life can burn much longer before running out of fuel. I don't know if that's because the engines in game have bad efficiency or if the fuel tanks don't carry enough, but regardless of the issue real life rockets have much longer burn times on the first stage. Between these two problems, realistic mode actually makes it much more difficult than it should be to get to orbit.
I always play in realistic mode! Because it's just a lot nicer to play in, with realistic planet sizes (30x classic mode planet sizes) it is a little hard but definetaly worth it... If you play it
4:05 (Osiris already said it but whatever) You need to NOT time warp but immediately start burning your engines. Outside the Kerman line with that kind of orbit, it's very hard to get up because you have a short amount of time. You cannot waste any time. Realistic mode isn't hard btw. I've gotten a random satellite in the orbit of mars doing absolutely nothing and i forgot about it.
The only reason why realistic mode is so difficult for normal sfs is because all the diameters and earth athmspehre get expanded but the rocket parts such as fuel tanks and engines don't get updated. A metaphor for this is shooting a zombie with a BB gun. Over time you might make s dent but not having the proper propulsion systems is making the game feel unfair and extremely difficult
Once I tried to make it to the moon in KSP RSS and barely made it into a lunar orbit with a few drops of fuel left… You did much better than me dude! Congrats! 😁🎉
@@xander2853It'd be amazing if we could figure out how to travel at even 5% of the speed of light, let alone the full speed. The universe is just so infinitely massive, that even when we travel at the speed of light, it could still take us centuries to go to other solar systems.
More realistic mode pls, but try use engine frontier in first stage if it has a boosters or second stage in big rocket. It has a big efficiency and easier making orbit ;)
The timing fot 1st stage cut off, staging and and 2nd stage lighting up should be around 5 seconds between each. Then 2nd stage should work until the orbit is half circularised, then reach apogee and then light up to circularise it.
tip on how to get into orbit like in real life: when detaching from the main booster, dont wait until you are out of the atmosphere, turn on the engines right after you detach, thats what we do in real life, even if you waste more fuel, the flight will be realistic
when going to orbit try burning the entire time and angling your craft level or negative to the horizon before your apoapsis so your speeding up constantly and dont end up falling back in the atmosphere
I have fully understand orbital mechanics. Even without control, I reached the space station in orbit 👇 You should not reach the peak by turning off the engine, you should travel the maximum distance with an angle of 45 and slowly reduce the angle to zero. Time it so that when you reach the peak, the fuel runs out and the circuit is formed.
