Wow yes amen! Just like work is used as an analogy to strive to enter into Christ's rest, so to run the race is equal to that of striving to staying the course of believing, and running the race is to preach the gospel for the purpose of winning others to Christ.
Great mention of the letter to the Hebrews. If the wilful sin was about the moral law it would suggest that believers are saved by works, which is the very opposite of the message. The entire letter to the Hebrews condemns any notion of a works based salvation, and goes to enormous lengths to show the juxtaposition between justification in Christ alone and the impossibility of attaining to moral excellence by works. The sin of justification by works is tantamount to unbelief, and wilfully or deliberately giving precedence to works over belief for salvation is insulting to the holy spirit.
    Many thanks for your insight.

People don't understand the truth due to their itching ears.
    Jesus+morals or good =nothing
Jesus +nothing at all = everything
Simple equation of life. Paul taught this in all his letters. So he cannot be teaching works for salvation. That would contradict his own words.
Bless your heart and I pray this platform grows and find more audience to set people free from the darkness of ignorance.

      Amen. You are correct.
I love that you brought up the verse that talks about ‘itching ears’ (2 Timothy 4:3). So often people teach that verse as though it we about bad Christians who just want to hear that it’s okay to sin and misbehave,
The context of these itching ears is actually about Jewish followers of the law having itching ears, and instead of trusting in Jesus, their itching ears would rather hear false doctrine of performance based righteousness.
If they rewind a few pen strokes they’d see the real context is the opposite:
2 Tim 3:15 ‘you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that LEADS TO SALVATION through FAITH which is in Christ JESUS.’

Thanks for this brother..very insightful..might borrow it later...
also....your title for this vid is 1 Corinthians 3 9 instead of 1 Corinthians 9 24, you might want to change that.
Either way, keep up the good work of sharing the gospel online.Much appreciated.

I’m so confused, can you explain to me how it works. Im here to learn that’s all. So if we are been saved by faith does that mean we can do what ever we want and still be saved ? 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 it talks about people who won’t make it to the kindom of God. But than it says “ and such were some of you “ I just get confused because the way I understand that text is that people are still doing those things and are we still saved ? Ever since I picked up the Bible, I been so confused because I get lost and sometimes I just want to quit because it’s hard to understand the Bible when everyone have different opinions towards salvation

Your question was: ‘So if we are been saved by faith does that mean we can do whatever we want and still be saved?’
The answer is yes. Because you are NOT saved by what you ‘do’, but rather what you ‘believe’. Apart from work, less anyone boasts. It is a GIFT. Free.
Now, I think you’re asking the question. The real question is, as a believer who has a NEW heart with NEW desires, ‘WHAT IS IT THAT I REALLY WANT TO DO’?
You see, God made you new. The new you will still sin, but it will never be satisfied unless you walk in the Spirit. The new you wants to let Jesus live in and through him. The old you is buried with Christ. The new you wants good things.
      Re: 1 Corinthians 6:9-11
You got correct. As such WERE some of you.
The context is he’s writing believers. Paul is basically saying:
‘Hey guys, why would want to sin now that you’ve been saved from it.? When people are not saved, the wages of sin is death. Those people are adulterers. Idolaters. Fornicators. Drunkards. That was their identity, and THEY will NOT inherit the Kingdom……BUT YOU believe in Jesus and you WERE washed, cleansed, and Justified. That’s YOUR identity.
Your have ALREADY inherited the kingdom.
In short, live our your new identity. Not your old one.
      I hope that helped
