The voices and background are nice, but the lyrics are terrible. "I close my eyes and see his eyes"? "I dream awake of holding her"? "I sense in all his silence says"? 🤨
She is actually saying "I sense in all his silences, more than his words could say." Basically she is explaining that he doesn't NEED to talk to her for her to understand what he says with his eyes which are very expressive and heavily pronounced in the film. Most of the lyrics are garbage, but I actually liked that one line coming from the princess.
Francis Glasco ironically the lyrics are made by an Oscar winning composer, they may not be the worst really in a way, but I can apparently agree that they were forced despite of the beautiful musical execution regarding the melody, am I right?
The first few lines are nice to listen to but as soon you get to the line "am i feeling love", its when you knew that this song is about almost generic as possible.

i am rather biased and i will say, this production is nothing compared to its original art masterpiece. The storytelling was too good and unconventional and rich, this one just couldn't even come close to meeting the bar. the *ONLY* redemption (thank grace) is Tack having the perfect voice to match even though he didnt really need it the first place. even with steve, Tack doesn't have a lot of lines to voice anyway, naturally relying on the 2 songs to showcase.
