Ingredients:
500g boneless chicken (cut into cubes)
1 cup fresh cream
1 cup yogurt (whisked)
2 medium onions (finely chopped)
2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
2-3 green chilies (finely chopped)
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon black pepper powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (optional for a spicier kick)
1/4 cup oil or ghee
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)
Fresh cream (for garnish)
Step 1: Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, add the chicken pieces, yogurt, a pinch of salt, and half of the ginger-garlic paste.
Mix well and let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes. This step helps tenderize the chicken and infuses it with flavor.
Step 2: Sauté the Onions
Heat oil or ghee in a pan or handi (traditional clay pot) on medium heat.
Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
