@@superlitty5000 I replied but the comment was removed since it contained a link. Just stap the "demo" with "ps3" at the beginning of the link and you'll get to the site. It is even shown this way in the video when he googles the site, no idea as to why he pasted an incorrect link.

@@jedimojojojo1603 just installed the eu version BCES01741 and it works fine after doing the steps. Just install all the updates from the first to the last, otherwise it won't work and apply the patches

Where did you download gow ascension from? The one I downloaded before wouldn't load up and now says there's an error.

What the Hell are those big files? Updates shouldn t be 9 GB size. RPCS3 is so dumb, it seems that every game set an issue, i have just installed RPCS3, my first game tested got boot failed, now this is my second game and the fix is to download 9 GB update file, and its still not working. Omg oure amateur emulator, PS3 emulator community sock

1 , Place " EP9000-BCES01741_00-GOWABDPATCH00001-A0112-V0100-PE.pkg" (8.53mb) ... in to your GOWE ,Folder. and run the emulator
Click the Open button left top under the File menu , and locate the game folder inside your GOWE games folder ,just when it says browse folder then click "Open". your game will be launched in to the emulators game window.
2 . Ps3 update file : (296 mb file)
Go to file install fermware >> You go to the emulator root directory folder and choose PS3UPDAT.PUP from there.
3 . EP9000-BCES01741_00-GOWABDPATCH00001-A0112-V0100-PE.pkg : (8.53mb)
Go to File >>Install packages\Raps...etc , and select your pkg file .
That's it brother ,the rest about the screen matching out lags follow these .

after booting into the game and doing all the updates and patches like you said. My rpcs3 crashes and except for my controllers 'ps' button none of the other buttons work. Like only the emulator button works but not ingame

hey, you probably have "SPU block size" set to Giga (in CPU tab), change it to mega, if it doesn't help, try to turn on write color buffers

Truth is that there are no PS3 emulator that work, only a few games would work.
How do I fix "The following package cannot be installed"
My biggest mistake was that I downloaded an unknown version. I can't update the game, I'll have to look for another version of the game. Mine is the same one you have but in the end it comes out in the UK and they packaged it like that
the current way you chose to update doesn’t work anymore but besides that everything in video is correct my game is up to date and working. (Found another video on TH-cam explaining how to update the game through discord and it was really easy)

original website doesn't work, found what i think is the updated one, and nothing will download when i click on the files...
if i use CTRL and click on the download link it says the website is not safe and could be trackers.

hey, check if you are installing an update for your exact version of gow a. If you stll get an error it's probably because you are missing 1 file with an version update.
