That root is actually 2 seeds from the Cassava plant. It is a larger bush with red flowers and 5 petals. It is one of the best sources of carbs, although the bulb is huge and heavy. Most people use it in an excellent soup instead. You must have harvested the bulb when you got it. Not really worth growing, though. Thank you for your explorations. I am enjoying them!
there is a trick with the smoker and dryer, if you leave meat on it and eat straight from it, it will remain fresh for ever. but if you collect after 4,5 days it will show up spoiled in your backpack
Dont forget you can do the steady aim so your aim isnt so shaky with the bow, also crouching makes you stealthier for getting easier headshots Bones can also be used for fishing or to get worms and stuff out of wounds too!
Yeah during my first few hours of another save I slept on the ground and got worms and had to figure that bone needle thing out. But then I died of infection :) now I carry ash bandages as I go. I think shift helps steady aim. Wasn't sure if crouch helped stealth so thanks :)

I've watched a couple videos where, if you say a curse word in the first 15 seconds of the video, it gets flagged, demonetized, whatever. I'm not a content creator, so I only paid have attention to what was being said. Does saying "Hell" as in "Green Hell," within the first 15 seconds of this video count against you?
I prefer longform as I mostly listen and keep my eyes moving on and off the video. It feels way more Zen than a super cut of highlights.

The Long Dark ends up being a drawer / cupboard searching game it feels like.
