To sign Leny Yoro who was poised to go to Real Madrid, in 10 days flat is phenomenal and something unheard of in Ed Woodward's days. I recall Ed was watching tennis at Wimbledon when he was supposed to be actively involved in signing new players. It's good to see that there is now teamwork in the highest order at the club.
If we judge just the manner of the transfers, it's a vast improvement. Previously, the transfer sagas would lead to overpayment, overhyped pressure on player and manager, as well as lack of a preseason to settle in for the player. It's the last thing an employer should wish for his employees.
Why is there always a weird inflation when it comes to players United buy? McTominay was one of United’s top performers? Come on! Yes, he scored a lot of goals, but his overall contribution was terrible and United lost more points with him in the squad than gained with those goals.
Only those who don't understand football rate Mctominay highly and think United should keep him. Would he make it at Real Madrid, City? No. But suddenly United have to lower their standards because he has passion, so much passion that he hides in games, doesn't track back(tell me one instance where he sprinted back to prevent a goal). he has such limited ability in so many aspects of the game. Just because he scores few goals here and there suddenly United fans love him. If anybody thinks I'm wrong, Judge Mctominay using the games in which he doesn't score or assists which was 75% or more PL games last season example, So basically he was horrendous almost 75% of the games he played.
@@okplld Absolutely fair points. I cant speak for all united fans but it is his passion that makes me a big mctominay supporter. I find his passion to be very refreshing considering all the money hungry spoiled prats Woodward and the rest of the Glazer circus have brought in over the last 10 ish years. That being said, In terms of his overall package, definitely not a good enough player for what we want to be achieving as a club. Did Liverpool pay 120 mill for VVD or 80 mill for Henderson. No. United havent paid 60 mill for Yoro. Not unless you are all assuming we will win tne league and CL and pay the add ons.
As a Utd fan, I still reckon we're not strong enough to be challenging City or Arsenal for the title just yet, but we have a great young team now for the future so have to keep building
EVERYONE HATES US MU FANS CAUSE WEVE WON AND DID IT ALL. We cant complain it’s us against every one we’re the biggest in England and we got London teams who ain’t won the prem in over 20 years and not a trophy in 5 years hating on us cause of who we are. THE BIGGEST. GGMU🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴
Utd target should be to push for top 4. Cups are always a positive but its a hard ask. Top 4 is possible if the team can be injury free. Having all your defenders injured was a huge problem.
I do my research on players and dont over hype the wrong players. Yoro reminds me of Rio Ferdinand. He has all the same attributes. Its now up to him how far he can go. But the talent he has, is off the scale. He is one of the best young defenders in the world and he is only 18. In 10 years time, he will still be younger than Maguire is now....
Did she actually say we don't think we'll be in top 4 next season considering we missed half our team all season? 😭😭😭😭 City and Arsenal will be top 2 I'm sure but Lpool will be shocking under Slot, Chelsea have a championship manager, Spurs are Spurs and Villa and Newcastle are irrelevant. We'll finish 3rd which is not where we want to be but a good block to build from.
It's not make or break for Ten Hag. Go to the history books and look up Arteta's first 3 seasons, and Klopp's. Bad, and they took over settled clubs with food owners. ETH has, in two years, won more than Arteta in his entire career. United are 2-3 years and 4 more windows away from being a continual Top 4 team, let alone a challenger. 115, Assnah, Leave a Poo, Villa, and Spuds are all ahead of them.
PSG will definitely be bailing us out if they pay the reported £50m for Sancho. It would definitely allow us to strengthen that CDM position. I’ve heard of Rabiot but idk how he fits into this team, he was very basic at the Euros. All things considered, I think top 4 is a reasonable target for this team.
@@DanSim93😂. Before the 22-23 season i thought the same, Rashford stagnated too much and i felt like he reached his ceiling at united, but then he had his best season by far. And then last season he went on to have his worst season by far… i think moving him on would be the best
@@chikku807 He thinks he's better than he is, 300 grand a week gets united inconsistency and sulking whilst playing. Let him go to psg and sulk every week.
We gotta remember that this united team came 3rd the season before when they didnt have that many season and them adding more depth to that core so top 4 is on
United is different gravy atm. You can tell they are already having talks way before the market was open. Every deal is done is a blink of an eye. Very impressive.
I'd be happy if Jadon Sancho just let and we saw the last of him. He has failed to impress under every possible circumstance under 3 mangers and was hardly setting Dortmund on fire when he returned, especially in the UCL final. PSG or Juve would be a good break for him and a solid way to recoup.
If we get Ugarte, De Ligt and maybe another midfielder through, Manchester United are in an outstanding position to improve our quality of play and solidify ourselves as a top 4 club again before we can expand further and challenge for the league in a couple of seasons time. Ineos are working wonders in comparison to the mess of the last few seasons.
They’re still not addressing problems. Yoro is one for the future fair enough, but Maguire was their best defender last season and they’re hoping Martinez is fit. Zirkzee is just a replica Hojlund. Still no decent wingers capable of competing at the top, or even providing service to Hojlund. The midfield is still pathetic. Mainoo is too young g to be trusted, his defensive discipline is nonexistent and that leaves a 70 year old Casemiro exposed. Shaw can’t be trusted, AWB and Dalot aren’t good enough. So so many holes in the squad still and united fans are getting their hopes up. Rinse and repeat, the inevitable disappointment will come as they fall short of the overhyped, unachievable expectations.
Finishing 3 or 4 in the prem and winning another trophy would be progression, obviously. Realistically, united need to sell 5 and bring in 3 or 4, even with IneoS behind them I’m not sure they have what it takes to do that.
The glaring issue at united is split in 3. Youve got players who are just not good enough and are young like pellistri and mejbri, players who are too old casemiro maguire lindelof evans and then players and too much money who dont perform or have injuries like rashford shaw mctominay . Realistically 10 players need out and a good 6/7 are needed and thats just to make top 4
If all goes to plan. If we continue to have a positive transfer window. And we gain adequate enough squad depth. I think 6th-5th place and trophy would be very achievable this season. I would be content with that. Because new signings might need time to settle. But the main thing that needs to happen next season. Is we need to be playing better football. That's nonnegotiable. I want to see a bounty of great performances. I want us to show up for every derby.
Dont say man u couldnt get another manager in...they could. ..a lot if manager who was available wanted to come but ten hag was still a better option...all the options were not convincing enough...so dont say we kept him because we couldnt get another manger in ..that is rubbish
Varane didnt leave because he was past it. It was a combination of wage, age and injuries. Most fans would of kept him at the club. He would still be better than Maguire, Lindeloff & Evans
You gotta love it. Even this bunch. People hate the fact United are on the right track. They ruined childhoods and the thought of them getting back to that terrifies people. People are still in therapy from when Sir Alex was manager.
Last season, there were only 8 points between 8th and 4th position. Without those injuries, top 4 is guaranteed. If you can't see us getting top 4 next season you are either naive or bitter/salty.
Ten Hag had only a handful of his own coaches. The rest were brought in over years because they were cheap. Not EPL level. No nutritionist, players were left to workout their own diet. Shambolic medical department. No set piece coach for at least 5/6 years. No qualified recruitment team above the manager. That has all been fixed this season. I expect a massive difference. Just by coaches and medical staff alone. Add the fact that we are fixing the playing staff from dysfunctional to functional. I predict top 4 and a cup run, maybe a trophy. The performance levels will be light night & day. It will be drastic.
Abby delusional if she think Man Utd isn't looking like a top 4 team. We were literally had the squad on one leg. IF we get Ugarte and De Ligt, That improvement in DM, 2 CBs, and a FW in one window. A fresh Sancho and Mount is another winger and CM which is improvements in literally every department on the field.
We United supporters been moaning about the Glazers for YEARS! Ineos come in and overhauled the structure and did some smart signings very quickly and very quietly.
I just love him because I love the club and its obvious he cares about the club. Youre definitely right about him lacking in ability. For me, hes just one of those players that I cant bring myself to hate and Ill be sad to see him go.
Yes he was definitely ONE OF the top performers.. I think you are forgetting how bad most of the squad were..
I'm not defending Mctominay just being honest.. If you think about it we lost more points with (insert any name) in the squad that gained with their goals..
It's actually refreshing listening to opposing fans talk sense and the the actual truth about us and not bitter hatred from everyone in the media and most of the other fans, fair play to you all need to hear more FOOTBALL fans like yourselves. 👍 🙌
Sancho did NOT have a decent season at Dortmund. If he had a similar output at United, no one would be saying this.
Ineos first transfer window and they are doing it correctly and not panicking buying like united have done in the past
Finally! A channel with a panel of sensible minds. A calm, relaxed, honest and thoughtful discussion. Thank you to the moderator and the panelists.
Utd target should be to push for top 4. Cups are always a positive but its a hard ask. Top 4 is possible if the team can be injury free. Having all your defenders injured was a huge problem.
The decade of humiliation is about to be over
I do my research on players and dont over hype the wrong players.
City and Arsenal will be top 2 I'm sure but Lpool will be shocking under Slot, Chelsea have a championship manager, Spurs are Spurs and Villa and Newcastle are irrelevant.
We'll finish 3rd which is not where we want to be but a good block to build from.
She supports Tottenham what do you expect from her 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
As a Utd fan, let's wait for some actual competitive games lol. Still not confident Ten Hag being sacked is off the 2025 bingo card
They will get Rashford just you wait
@@obongo96 I hope that's the case, il take rashford to the airport myself.
Rabiot a better version of Mctominay
Zirkzee is just a replica Hojlund? Absolute waffle man, they couldn’t be more different 😂
Love to see this crew munching on humble pie. 😋
Ten hag still needs a proper playing style but will be happy if we can get de ligt and sort defense 1st
As a united fan we expect top 4. That's not a good enough result but it's expected. Only winning is good enough
Fans never learn they overreact over a small gust of wind, so United have won the transfer window 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This guy in the middle could pronounce John wrong
Dont say man u couldnt get another manager in...they could. ..a lot if manager who was available wanted to come but ten hag was still a better option...all the options were not convincing enough...so dont say we kept him because we couldnt get another manger in ..that is rubbish
STOP JINXING US!
They the biggest club in the world... hell yeah ❤❤ things we love to hear !! Probably not biggest but yeah after real Madrid we r the one....
After madrid there is bayern and barca and historically ac milan they r all ahead of united
Did you skip Bayern, Milan, Liverpool and Barca?
As a United fan, it’s nice to see rival fans talk sensibly. 👌🏼subscribed
But, ETH is building, won 2 trophies in 2 seasons. He’s going nowhere!
You know it must be good when even haters are praising them
It's always good when rivals are talking about your club. The giant is waking up.
It is a mid-table team now, at some point you'll just have to learn to accept it.
08:55 😂😂😂
We United supporters been moaning about the Glazers for YEARS! Ineos come in and overhauled the structure and did some smart signings very quickly and very quietly. These lot might have been joking but deep down they are scared. And I'd like to remind everyone how ten Hag finished in his debut season in the Premier League
14pts behind the league winners
Bet not one of you knew anything about him about, because i certainly didn't
Why these man keep saying Yoro was £60m? It’s £42m with add ons!
Yeah yoro can start🎉🎉 but we going for everything so rotation is key. Eat the dust.
Mctominay was not our best player last season
He scored a few last minute goals that opposing fans remember and did not much else
Erik shouldn't say sorry to Sancho. More importantly Sancho should say sorry to the fans that pay his lazy ass wages.
Bruh who are these people and what heave their clubs done 😂😂😂😂😂😂 it’s crazy the mergers and the level they talk at it’s mad
To say mctominay was one our best players last season is scandalous. For me he was one of our worst players based off performances.
Everyone elses club are fly on the walls compared to United, United live rent free in there heads.
Very good take for a fan channel
Leny Yoro £42m not £60m
U guys are not even talking about Aston villa 😮
I mean we have only signed 2 players and our business is looking better than all the other clubs represented here
What renaissance, they've done nothing. Paid double what anyone else was willing to pay for Yoro. And Zirkzee is untested at the very highest level
We appreciate the positive words, but we haven't done anything yet. We still have players to add and sell. Let's see how things this season.
You guys complain about inexperience for young players, declining player for old players & very expensive for prime aged players. 😂
The best program keep it up
Beautiful content 🤝🏾👏🏾
Why are you guys lying about Yoros wages ? 😂
I’m sure wee’ll mot meet expectations whatsoever lmao
AGT inflating the transfer fee and then saying Yoro’s salary is 150K, when it’s 115K. Trying to create a false narrative.
I can't be carried away, I don't like that coach, his style of play really we don't have style up to now.... Tell me how we play.. We win because of individual brilliance.
52 mil for yoro
Euros
Biggest club in the world yess Nicky
60mil euros for Yoro not pounds
Manchester wouldn’t talk about Arsenal. We all know the biggest club
The squad wasn’t at full strength either
We keep you all entertained
Mah desperate to talk united down because his own team is so awful.
