  • Cut out the first portion of the log. It was a cluster %$*! between: fighting icy footings, a knot holding in the chips, breaking off some rust in my swing, and dealing with some residual muscular fatigue from my hypertrophy training. it was a solid 15 minutes of struggling haha just one of those days. but still good to get out and chop. underhand cradle is getting modified to have different log dogs

    Your leaning, especially on your down hits focus on rotating your hip and lean back off your front leg. Other than that not looking too bad! Always fun to cut the big wood!

      Thank you! The big wood is fun haha tiring but fun! And Yeah, nothing felt right yesterday. Just felt off. But I'll try actively thinking about leaning back and sitting into my stance vs. Leaning my body into the cut. Since you mention that though, I have been noticing, particularly my down swing, feeling cramped a bit. So taking the lean back into my stance will probably help with that!
