Just wanted to drop a message that your video on the Hobbywing ESC really did the truck. Myself and a friend worked to create a steering controller that worked off the hotrc remote to make everything chordless, happy to share the info if you would like.
Thanks Brandon! I didn't use paracord, it's dyneema 1.8mm cord. I just threaded it through the tube. I have another video that explains how to have impact resistance and raise the motor..
@@Aksmaniyak I appreciate the reply, do you have a link to the video explaining it? Also im gonna try out your rc remote controller for your trolling motor I thought that was a great idea!
Another super clean install. Great idea(s) !!!
Thanks!
Looks good. It should work fine.😊
Thanks John.

Yes. Pics and/or video would be great.

The site doesn't show the latest models with the incorporation of the Hobbywing ESC into the electronic box but the steering mechanism hasn't changed.
@@kenthenry5185 What site?
It looks like TH-cam isn't allowing me to post the website (tried several times and the link dissapears).
Nice and clean! But how do we lift the motor out the water? Weeds and shallow water's nightmare
Thanks! I have a video for Impact Resistance and Cable Lift System that solves the issue.
I dont see the video you refer to. I'm curious too
Never mind I found it. 5yrs ago u did that video
Do you think you can come up with a way to do a set riser for the jonny boat 100?
It's possible. I was even thinking of modifying the DIY kayak swivel seat video to make one for it.
Great install!! How did you get the paracord through the tubing, and is there any way to raise and lower the trolling motor from your seat?

@@brandonadams6403 Thanks again. I don't have a video for just installing the dyneema cord.
@@Aksmaniyak Sorry I meant the video on how you raise and lower your motor/impact resistance
