LMAO with your stache! Awesome trip, very nice winter setup. I didn’t know you were both Algonquin guides in your past, that explains your extensive skills and stamina.
Hey Derek, I had no idea how bad it was until I looked at myself in the camera haha 😂 ...ya we've been guiding for many years, mostly canoeing but also rafting and ziplining. We still canoe guide in Algonquin a bit each summer. I have learned a lot from my guiding experiences! Hopefully I'll still be guiding when I'm old and gray 😄 Thanks for watching!
We dont see that too often that kind of video where the hot tent is move everyday up to the next spot , such hard work to do everyday , even more so with the deep snow and the slushy lakes , my god ! It takes a lot of determination to wake up each day , pack everything , open the trail , and reset the camp each night 😵💫 , so the only thing I can say to you guys is " chapeau " like we say in french , Thanks for the video , Sylvain, Québec
Thank you for the very nice compliment! We've worked to simplify our systems and get more efficient with everything we do. We're still learning more and more about this style of camping but were definitely hooked on it! I'm very glad you appreciated this adventure. Merci mon ami!
It was a memorable one for Paige and me. I love how at different temperatures the sound of the snow can change so dramatically. When it's really cold it sounds like you're walking on styrofoam! Thanks for watching 🙂
What a wonderfully challenging trip, excellent training for your next adventure for sure! With Paige's good cooking there will be no worries, lots of good food for energy! That was one crazy stache, too funny! Thanks for sharing. :) :)
We definitely could have made the trip 1 day longer but we are still learning our limits with winter travel. I am lucky to have a partner who takes care of food on trip and cooking most camp meals, that's for sure. Thank you for watching 🙂

Hey Ian, trips like this definitely whip us into shape quickly! Winter weather offers beautiful scenery and it's nice to appreciate Algonquin in all seasons. Thanks for watching our adventures!
Pretty cool video - thank you for sharing. Absolutely like your winter setup with the snow trekker tent. Looking forward to the Quetico experience - hope you share some videos from there as well.
Hey Christian, I love hearing that you enjoyed the video! Our Snowtrekker hot tent is pretty awesome. It always amazes me that we can fit everything we need to live comfortably outdoors in the winter on 2 toboggans. We're almost in Quetico now, I will be sharing about that experience when we get back. Thanks for watching!
Hey Nicholas, happy to hear you love my videos. It is a Sarma windproof anorak from Varusteleka. I bought a fur ruff from Lure of the North and Paige sewed it on. Thanks for watching 🙂

The best part is the hot drink, warm tent and blazing hot partner. Winter camping is for close friends only.
Agreed!
Beautiful! Nice to see that area frozen over.❄️☃️ You guys are machines, the ending says it all 😂 thanks for sharing🍻
Overestimated the distance on this one ahah powered through though! Thanks for checking out the vid 🙂

Love the ice stache. Very rewarding but winter travel is hard.
Agreed, winter travel is tough! Thanks for watching Jay.
Wow, ready for bed.. well done guys..truly awesome
Thanks Jim! It was good to get out and push ourselves on this winter trip.
Great trip video. Love the ice stache.

You two are endurance athletes to pull that off! Well done. Enjoyed the video with the scenery and your experiences along the way. Keep adventuring!

Can't believe you've found a woman who would do this 3 day trip let alone 2 weeks in Quetico. Paige is a real trooper.
I'm very lucky! Paige is my adventure partner and it's great exploring the backcountry together. Thanks for watching Alex!

Super cool. Love your videos. Would you be willing to share the brand of your black Anorak?

Impressive once again. I’ve done a few hot tent trips and have yet to move once never mind every day. You two are hardcore.
Maybe we'll get ya moving on the next one 😜 then you can be hardcore too. Hardcore hardcore!
Great video. Where did you pick up your 3" stove pipe?
It came with the Kni-co trekker stove, 1 piece of 3" stove pipe, and 3 pieces that nest into eachother and go up to 4". Thanks for watching!
what is the strap that you use to pull the toboggan ? where did you get it ?
That leather strap is from Lure of the North, they're great.
