Very impressive cover! Finally, the most accurate transcription of the solo! The sliding-legato thingy in the first solo has just never been right in all the tabs. May I ask, do you do guitar for a living somehow, or just hobby?
Hey man, first of all thanks heaps for the comment. I did put a lot of effort in this one as I was pretty frustrated it wasnt't accurate anywhere else, glad you saw that too. I do transcriptions for a hobby, and have done so basically since I started playing guitar. I would love to make a living out of it someday, but for now the appreciation I get from you guys is enough! Anyways thanks again man and don't hesitate to look at the other tabs I have on Soundslice, they were all made very carefully!
@@TbombGuitar I definitely noticed that! I've made my share of shitty attempts inserting "somewhat alike pentatonic phrases" and never succeeded. For me though, the main difficulty of this song is the main riff with triplets and string skipping. Eats up the stamina in the right hand pretty quickly!
My pleasure my friend, the whole point of the channel is to help people learn both classic and more unknown songs with proper tabs rather than the stuff you usually find which is often incorrect, incomplete or inexistent! Glad you enjoy my work !
I must say, you've done nice work to capture that intro fretboard position. Watching some live videos you can see their hands jumping to that second fret. I am finding it hard to apply vibrato the way Bill does when he plays it though.
Thanks my friend! A lot of people get the positioning wrong, but I must admit the way Bill and Mike play the intro is not the most intuitive one. A lot of Bill's vibrato is using a whammy bar
The tabs are in a link in the description my dude! I post them on Soundslice which enables you to see them alongside the video and rewind etc to learn each section, pretty handy
Thanks man. Ive learned the entire this mortal coil, almost the entire no oove lost, and almost the entire embodiment by ear. I would.like to see if you have tabs for those ones, plus death certificate too. So i can compare and see if i made any mistakes and fix them.
Hey dude, good job on learning those. I had tabbed embodiment a while ago but lost it. I do have the tabs for the solo of death certificate though. Send me an email I'll send you what I have for now
Ballsy playing Carcass with a six strings, what gauge are you using? Incredible cover as always. I noticed you're the only one who I like seeing diverge from the tabs, 'cause I'm certain you've spent your time getting it as accurate as you can.
This song was originally recorded on 6 strings, so it's only in my quest for accuracy I do the same! And I don't have a 7 strings anyways ahaha. This is a 0.09 - 0.42 set on this one, but it's tuned to E standard then downtuned using my rack multi effect. It's a lot more convenient than just retuning the Floyd every week. Thanks a lot for your support and you enjoying my videos. I only diverge from online tabs cause they are often wrong, and yes, I spent a considerable amount of time making them to be as accurate as can be. For example, one of them took no longer than 4 years to be perfect! But you'll know when you see it 😉
I thought they looked a bit thin for being that tight in B. Never knew you could do that with a rack, guess I'm way behind when it comes to tech. Cheers mate.
@@vladtheinhaler8476 Not even my dude, it's Infecting the crypts by Suffocation.... The more you listen to it, the more you realise how each riff has little intricacies, and really it never stops getting more complicated. I can safely say that there is not 1 accurate cover or tab out there for this song.... YET!

My favorite Carcass song of this album. Sounding great my man. Keep up all your great work.
Thanks a lot Stevie!
Your welcome my man.
That guitar sounds f’ing incredible! Awesome video!
Thanks a lot my dude, she sure does rip!
@@TbombGuitar _Insane how you seem to play this effortlessly. 🏆🎥🎸🎶 Great playing! I love a good metal cover!_
One of Carcass' finest tunes... Great taste, great performance as usual!! Keep it up man!!
Bill Steer is a riff master
For sure! Although I think Mike had a significant input in this song's writing, it's a lot more melodic than some of their earlier stuff
I would go on a limb and say this bridges the gap between Carnage and the first Arch Enemy album. You really can hear the progression Mike Amott made.
@@LuckyLarry33 For me Carnage is closer to David Blomqvist in inspiration that Mike, but not sure who really wrote those songs
Great cover and very helpful for people like me who want to play this song themselves. Thanks!

Thanks a lot mate! There's plenty more to come!
Love the clean play. Amazing
Thanks a lot!
Great playing man
I love Orthodoxy and metal too
Weird combination 😃
It seems many people do judging by the comments I receive!
Death metal with harmonized will always be the best. So unnerving. As a kid it always gave me chills. Thanks for doing it justice!
Thanks a lot man! It's a great song and really shows Carcass at its best
Great job man where do i find tabs you created

Good old Carcass 🤟
Always does the job!
Мне очень нравится как играете эти рифы.😮
Thanks dude! I try to stick to the way the band played them!
Круто получилось!!!!🤘
I had to look up half the words in this dam song in a dictionary 😂
I think they had to do that too! Their lyrics make very little sense though ahaha

Que banda tiene los riff más complejos carcass o death?
Carcass for sure! Death rhythm work is actually not that hard I don't find, Carcass is very intricate and lots of fast power chords!
@@TbombGuitar I totally agree with you, I wanted to play a song from Carcass and I couldn't do it.
Great cover! Are you from Greece?

What gauge strings do you use for this tuning on a 6 string?
