amazon sells cork circles -- that I add to the bottom of my rope coasters .

I put little box on the floor & pul up the cord then sew.
I love coasters.Your hands are in the way. Maybe put the camera up above your hands.
I'm late to the party on this video. Just found it! Absolutely love the ideas especially for the ornaments. I've made rope projects for a while now. Now I can incorporate my newly "found" passion of ruler work!

I am having a difficult time as my coasters buckle in the middle. What am I doing??
I have the same difficulty. Someone told me not to put tension on the rope about to go on. It helped!
Could you use a walking foot
I just made about 9 coasters using the walking foot. I sew on a Bernina 350 and it works beautifully. Remember to use a Jean needle when you sew rope anything. I’ve used another foot before and it works fine. Preference I suppose. Good luck!
