Love her or hate her Catra is one of my personal and best characters in the show and I can connect with her I know what it's like to lose a best friend not that I'm saying I support her choices that she made in the show but I definitely want there to be a Redemption for her
she is honestly one of the best characters i have seen in a long time. she has been through so much, the abuse of shadow weaver, the depart of her love, and the only way she could feel wanted was to rise to the highest postion so nobody would break her heart again and she could matter. that is a feeling nobody should go through. i relate to her so much and she has taught me something i will forever live by
I really don't like seeing her crying. You can tell she's hurting. But at the same time she needs to own up to her actions. I think Double Trouble helped with that by being harsh. She really is alone now. But I think she'll get redeemed. At the end of this season, she didn't seem angry when she looked at Glimmer
That's what I am saying,Double trouble figured her out and called her out for her actions. They are harsh because Adora tried reasoning with her passively. So they took the initiative to break it to her in the harshest way. Not saying they did it for Adora, but they noticed it during his time with Catra that she had an issue that isolated her. Yet she cries about it.
This is SO fantastic! Watching Catras story play out is a wild ride but I keep wanting to feel it again and again so amvs like this are a godsend. This ones probably a new fave tho, you made perfect use of the scenes and the themes of the show. Beautiful job!!!!
In my opinion Catra hasn’t done anything wrong. She acts like this because well Horde Prime cast Hordak out who then treated Shadow Weaver with no respect and then Shadow Weaver manipulated and used catra who then does this to everybody else. And Adora left Catra for the Princess Alliance. I do hope that catra gets off of horde primes ship and joins the rebellion though because they would have a great fighter on their team. I also wish glimmer wasn’t so cocky because just no. And also I wish Catra could be happy instead of feeling alone, bitter and sad.
Oh, Catra has definitely done things wrong. Just because we're made to understand where she's coming from, it doesn't justify her actions or the people she's hurt. I think it's a very good examination of how the cycle of abuse works--she gets treated like dirt, and she grows up thinking that power is the key to her self-actualization. She had every chance to go with Adora, to turn her back on the hate and the abuse that she grew up with. But she doesn't, because she incorrectly interprets Adora's intentions and decides that all Adora ever wanted was someone to lord her hero complex over. Not that Adora did a particularly good job of dissuading her from this viewpoint, and she did kinda just go off on her own without considering how her actions would impact Catra, but Catra was the one who slapped her hand away. She even tried to prove herself to Shadow Weaver, before learning the hard way that it's impossible to gain the approval of someone who only sees you for how they can use you (which later gives her the edge on Hordak in season 4, because she knows what a desperate lie he's telling himself about how Horde Prime will be proud of him). And when she sees Shadow Weaver accepted by Bow and Glimmer, the people who took Adora away from her, she snaps. She decides that "winning" is more important than doing the right thing. She breaks the world and blames Adora for it, before Adora punches her in the face and tells her to take some goddamn responsibility for once in her life. She continues that downward spiral in season 4, steadily pushing away everyone who ever cared for her because she's so obsessed with, as Double Trouble puts it, "playing the big bad villain." But as they rightly point out, Catra's heart has never been in it. Everything she's done since Adora left has been a defense mechanism to keep herself from getting hurt again. In the end, it's Glimmer who inspires her. She makes the exact same mistake as Catra did, unleashing a world-ending calamity rather than admit defeat, but... then Glimmer tries to fix it. And in that moment, Catra realizes that there *is* a way forward, a way to stop hurting herself and others, even if that road seems incredibly long. Walking down that road, making amends and improving on herself, is how she'll get better in the end.
That was a long message from you and actually yes I see that now Catra has had so many chances and opportunities to redeem herself but she chose not to lol btw I’m 10 yrs old 😂
Poor Catra even if she is not completly innocent
Stefano Zucchelli ikr like Jesus
Stefano Zucchelli one of the Best Female Villains of 2019

Same
Same here
Same. I’ve been where catras been so I really relate with her, well both her happy side and bad side honestly 😂
I completely understand the discomfort with the 'ship but you can't argue that Catra is an extremely well developed and interesting character.
there is. Catra's a great character, and a great one to do a character study on tbh
I just want her to be redeemed and happy
Same😢 I felt sorry for catra
She honestly tried :c
Same :(
Me too. She deserves it.😥
GIVE CATRA A REDEMPTION ARC
Catra is the reason why I started watching the series🥺🖤
Same lol
I know, I just saw her photo and I clicked on the first episode.
Same lol

i started watching it when my mom made me because she read it had non binary representation and now i’m so happy she made me watch it

Since Scorpia and Double trouble has left the horde, Catra is suffering hard. So I’m feeling some sympathy.

@@wrenproductions5435 Um, just letting you know that Double Trouble is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns
@@torrinashley6076oops my bad
@@wrenproductions5435 No problem. I think it's pretty cool tho. Glimmer respects Double Trouble's pronouns despite them being on the enemy side
Right. She even looked slightly concerned when glimmer was getting her magic drained. I’m sensing redemption and gayness next season
her pain is not unnoticed, though she is the cause of a lot of hurt aswell.
if only pride and ego would let her go, along with the past.
yeah this latest season really messed with me
CATRA IS THE WORLDS MOST COMPLICATED CHARACTER
MOVE OVER SNAPE
lmfao this made me laugh with the snape part lmao. But true true
Beep Boop XD
Uhhhhh... I would say that's Shadow Weaver
This is the kind of show that can change your view of the antagonists in a nanosecond, you can go from “Damnit, Catra stop it.” To “Aww poor baby”
This made me realise what catra feels

The timing at 3:46 is impeccable
Really loved this amv overall!!
This song is FIRE!
PVRIS and She Ra, 2 of my favourite things!
Also, this is a great edit, good job😁
Poor Catra...she needs a hug
I feel really bad for Catra but, at the same time she is not totally innocent because she too has done some bad things
Jasmine Alfaro well she is supposed to play* the villian
I hope at the end of the show catra is happy and find out what she really wants
yep she does :)
I didn't knew this song and now I'm addicted to it and She-ra XD
Love this music video.
this hits different after season five
I’m really realizing the life of Catra.. must be hard 😔 but at the end 😏
Excellent as always!
Thank you!
Poor Catra..... (((
I love how this video puts adora in the rol of the villain
#Protectcatra
these lyrics would go well with footage from Catra's time on Prime's ship
I LOVE THIS
woahhhh this is amazing
Catra es como un ex que no logra superar su anterior relación y daña todo aquel con el que tiene contacto
Okay but. Catra + Pvris is the best and gayest thing ever and I love it
I still can’t get over Catra is the voice of Stevonnie from Steven Universe!~ Oh yeah, Catra was in Steven Universe folks.~
OMG RLLY!? 😂😭😂😭😂😂
Oh my gosh, PVRIS agaaain
Honestly it's a miracle I haven't used more songs by them because it just fits so well.
@@jonathanharrison4585 💕 I agree
This is amazing!
Nice work!
I feel like Catra would sing to soothe herself. It's just a headcanon
Where did you download the episodes? I can't download them :(
I found them in netflix but you have to pay 😕
Okay but like what happened to her sideburns?
According to Noelle she cut them off because she sees her cat features as something people can use to manipulate her, like Shadow Weaver did in 2x06.
@@jonathanharrison4585 Oh, okay. Thanks
@@jonathanharrison4585how do the cat features make her easy to manipulate?
