SAS straight up said Dame should be traded after the first season and ESPN has the Bucks ranked as a Play-in team. Now we're a contender again after one game? ESPN are never consistent! 😂I always thought the Bucks needed real time to gel and even though Embiid and George didn't play, it's clear they are more cohesive and still a contender. Dames is my favorite player but there's something I notice he can't utilize giannis as a point guard the other teams know what dame does and that is scoring so he gotta work on his point guard skills so the other teams won't figure him out just like steph
Good observation. When Dame is in the zone, he mostly looks to score. He almost never spot up in the corner.

1) The Dame trade was dumb. Holiday is a better fit for a championship team. That was proven in 2018 when Holiday dominated Dame in the playoffs. After that, the 2 championship teams with Holiday.
2) This team sabotaged themselves by firing a coach that had them in 1st place for coach who has underachieved since leaving Boston.
The Bucks need to prove they are the caliber of team these guys are trying to sale

They're going to have to figure out how to account for Dame's non-existent defense. Sure, you can hide him on that end during the regular season, but not in the playoffs. If I'm an opposing squad, I'm hunting him often.
He actually played good defensively last night and was among the best point guards defensively last season. The Bucks had the #1 defense in the NBA before Jrue even got there. They'll be fine.

Milwaukee NEEDS Middleton to be 100% and them to figure out Lopez is somewhat washed and to play Giannis at center more with Portix as the PF who can spread the floor. That is how they can contend with Boston. I would also say a trade where they bring another athletic 4-5 man. I just think Lopez is washed and slows them down way too much.

Nobody is beating a healthy Celtics. Not a single team in the East, I don't care who it is. They now have no pressure on them to succeed which will make them even more dangerous now. The Jays are in their prime now, and they kept every player. They have the best 2 way starting 5 in the entire league. They don't just score, they play great defense. Every player on the team can shoot from 3, even their bigs lol.
A few West teams will make a great finals though vs the C's.
The Bucks matched up 4 times last season. Celtics barely won two games by 3 and 5 points after blowing 30 point leads to them and the other Bucks wins were dominant blowouts that were so bad the Celtics rested their starters at half time.
