That's pretty cool. Never knew that. I'm gonna start taking a blacklight pic on my ebay listings and hope it catches on and becomes common place to do it.
I don't think it would matter because the counterfeiter does not have access to the black light label. You can re use a psa slab but I would assume it's very hard to find a psa 9 or 10 label to match that same card.
@Airsant You're obviously unaware of what has been happening recently. The Chinese have been cracking out PSA 10 cards, then using that PSA 10 label and then slabbing it with a counterfeit PSA case and lightly played card. So the label is a legit PSA 10 label, the card is legit (but not PSA 10), only the slab is fake. They then use resubmit that card to PSA and get another PSA 10 label. Rinse and repeat. There are some tell tell signs on the Chinese counterfeit cases, but they're only going to get better at making them. The only other way to tell is to match the holo pattern.
@@Oldboy.Crypto All PSA would have to do is microdot the back of each card with a special PSA ink, something invisible. That would let them know when a card came in if it had been previously graded. Then they could then force a review of that submission, and or refuse to grade the card again if they find a pattern with the customer.
Maybe this is a Uber nerdy point, but can you direct us to a link to the exact backlight you got? Or maybe anyone will do I just have to find a cheap but effective one
@@HhFf-fl2xv - If its a 10, its a10. It's a way to get another 10 label. Maybe it fails once in a while, but that's probably figured in as a "cost of doing business" by the scammers. It's unfortunate that those people try to ruin our hobby.

Whats your ebay store called bro
Never knew about the black light! Thanks for sharing
Bro I turned my house upside down looking for a black light 😅 thank god my shi real
Yeah, but it's the slabs that are the issues now. PSA needs to add something to the label so it can't be reused if it's cracked out of a slab.
You would think they would have thought about that already.

Wow I was today years old 😅

Also the tiny PSA on the bottom corner right ??
why wouldnt they fake the black light too ?
cant the person buy a fake slab, open this legit slab, put the label and a fake card in the fake slab, and sell the fake card slab with a legit label?

Thank you
Mewtwo-sama! 😮
Can the scan code be faked? Just use the app but if so i just got my black light today.
So there is no way to actually verify the old PSA labels/slabs?
Yes you can search up PSA certificate No. on their Website/App
what if fake labels with holograms then exists? PSA sould do way way more for security
they use real labels from resubmitted cards.😮
@@creativity.studio4967what do u mean? like reslabbed ? who would resubmit a 10

The first card is real label, real different card and fake slab
What if the card inside is the fake thing about it ☹️
Just grade your cards with a grading company which doesn't use cheap china cases from AliExpress like PSA...
So basically this doesn't work, cool. Thanks
Sell me your second graded card since its clearly not real!
I guess I’ll just have to keep faking the old slabs 😂😂
I make fake PSA slabs and they sell the PSA labels on a website and they glow under a black light it's 2024 now the card is how you tell
Could you not?
Your literally adding to the problem
You make fake PSA slabs? Dude wtf
@@FatherandSonHaveFun yes do you want one there. Cheaper and art work
@PokeKnowledgeCards will this work on 4 cert era?
Cert 4 Era had it on the back only. Starting Cert 5 Era has front and back.
