Hey thanks for the feedback! The base of this bass is a sterling sub ray 4. I’ve removed the original black paint and attached real newspaper to the body. Then I’ve painted the body with several layers of clear coat to protect the newspaper from being damaged while playing.

Did you need to do any particular modifications to this bass for the lane poor pickup, or was is just a standard pickup change?
I also changed the preamp to a Aguilar OBP-1. So its technically just like Flea's basses. :)
