This has to change ! The Canadian justice system could be much better than this. To spend years behind prison bars , and say ok, get out, nothing more,,,

Iris is my sister in law and is doing amazing she has been sober for many years. She has a great job and helps residential school survivors. She is an amazing person we love her dearly. ❤

So patty misses an interview by no fault of her own...so she went back to jail..what? Why wasnt the interview rescheduled and an apology and grace given... what?
A little more care and attention is needed , not everything is black or white , there are many shades of grey.
I just want to scream when i see the way parole officers tell these women ya well if you want you can sleep on the floor....grr
