This doesn't affect the narrative of the report nor the fact that CSC is a highly resourced prison agency, but at 1:06 the video states that CSC has a budget of nearly $300 BN. This is incorrect. CSC's 2022-23 total budgetary spending was $3,050,727,462 (or $3.1 BN). Not sure if this correction can be made to the video at this point. Either way, it's a lot of money.

Agreed, $300 billion is a misquote. A story which aims to find the truth, its a lie which should be at least pointed out.

Returning inmates is the job security of the whole justice system who live as the elite and get practical immunity for committing the same crimes but are agents of the tyrannical power of government .

Canada collectively doesn't have 300 BN dollars, most Canadians are broke.

In Australia, indigenous prisoners in the Northern Territory, are taken on fishing and hunting trips. They are also able to cook kangaroos etc in fire pits on prison grounds. It is extremely important to recognize culture For a more positive outcome and reduce deaths in custody

Maybe the inmates should take responsibility for their actions and stop pretending they’re the victim in this.

Maybe he should start taking responsibility for his behaviour. And just imagine if he got convicted of ALL the crimes he got away with. Stop using addiction as an excuse to hurt people.

I know that subtitles are "chic" and cost effective, but they're also elitist and exclusionary to visually impaired people and those who cannot read the language in which the subtitles are written.
Please consider increasing information access by using dubbed translations rather than written translations. Thank you :)

Maybe native populations need to take a hard look in the mirror and stop victimizing eachother.
Stop normalizing addiction and blaming everyone but themselves.
Everyone has trauma in theyr lives.
Huge trauma. Not everyone uses that as the rationale for committing crime as a career.
