So I did the Baking Soda Gender Test! I know it is not 100% accurate, its like a old wives tale or something like that, I thought I would do this test for fun. I am currently 17 weeks pregnant.

just wanted to let everybody know that I did this test a few weeks ago and the results were very flat no bubbles I just wanted to go get my ultrasound on Tuesday to see what I'm having and I'm having a girl definitely so it was very accurate for me

My wife did this test earlier .. definitely result was boy .. but am sorry she gave birth to baby girl.. this baking soda test is a fun play.. please don't believe this gender prediction test..it will upset you finally....

Maya Es Maybe u used baking powder that's why it fizzle on water. Try it with baking soda

I did this at 12 weeks no fizz.
Took the NIPT blood test at 15 weeks and 20 weeks scan
And they were correct I'm having a girl.

It was not accurate for me . I didn't see any bubbles or forms and I thought it might be a girl but the DNA result and ultrasound says that I'm having a baby boy. Anyway it was fun to do and guess the gender in early pregnancy.

This was fun to do. I'm 18 weeks and had my ultrasound a couple days ago and I'm having a boy. Did this test for fun this morning and my result read girl! Hmmm lol was fun though

It looks like a boy to me. This test reminds me of the groundhog in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, USA that predicts when spring is coming. Maybe you can get some of the groundhogs urine to find out if your next baby will be born in spring and if it will be a girl. ;) j/k

I would be so happy for you to have a girl, I think she would be beautiful and you can buy all kinds of cute girly things :) as long as baby is healthy then a girl or boy really doesn't matter. Hope you feel better by now. I have a medical problem and I am sick almost everyday so I can relate to the nausea vomiłting hate it. One good thing going through those first few months the end outcome is so worth it. Hugs and take care.

Baking soda and bicarbonate of soda are different names for the same thing.

I poured a quarter cup of urine over a quarter cup of baking soda...
foam overflowed the cup...
and is still full of foam to the top.

+louli lamina a blood test will not tell you the gender of the baby unless you get the baby's blood which is a high risk to the baby. Most people find out the gender from ultrasounds I have a gender reveal video on my channel if you want to see the gender of the baby :)
lishieandfamily actually, you can tell the sex of the baby with your blood. NIPT (noninvasive prenatal testing) is a blood test that can detect Down syndrome and a few other chromosomal conditions at 10 weeks of pregnancy or later. (You can also find out your baby's sex.) if the results show only two x your having a girl, if you come back xy its a boy
