I think that will come these times when whole Rayman community will remaster whole R series and Ubi finally will understand how important Rayman is for game industry. Then hopefully incredibly Rayman 4 comes out!
Ubisoft has been doing so much shit in recent years that if R4 sees the light of day it probably will still have a strong bond to Rabbids and will be littered with paywalls, DLCs and NFTs.

This is fantastic. The detail of adding seamless level transitions was a great idea, and everything looks so crisp... really cool. I can only dream of what the underwater level from the Land of the Living Dead would look AND feel like if you were given actual full control over Rayman instead of the game forcing you on a sort of 2D/controlled movement pattern.
I really love your project man, the way you kept the old like structers and look of the game makes it so beautifull, you kept the old style but refined it which keeps the old feeling. Furthermore how you made a lot of effects work is beautifull. The things I would like to point out for you are; the fireing effects of rayman, his glide is a bit too strong, bring a bit more moting in the envirement so the game looks more alive, ofcourse try to prie out the bugs. But I love it please keep working on it and I'd love to see your progress man i'm full in on this project much love

The water at 2:30 should be a reflective surface. How much of this are you going to complete & pour your time into? Especially if you don’t have Murphy talking, & you need another model for glowbox/ rayman with no arms, the curve shot didn’t work out at the first NPC, etc. The bounce doesn’t have any animation on the extra jump surfaces… how much will it take to animate the npc’s?
The water at 2:30 with reflections is being worked on since the weekend and already looks beautiful The extracted Murfy model + animations + soundfiles are there, but not yet integrated into the UE-Project, because Murfy's UV Mapping needs a bit to work on Animating things like the bounce is repetitive work, it's better not to hang yourself on small details, but of course we will see that in the next devlog i guess Animating the NPCs is a bit of a problem, because the animations that are extracted from the original game to blender do not work that well at the moment, there are some mesh-glitches of some NPCs, some have UV-Mapping issues that need to be fixed manually, because Rayman 3 used more complex/ dynamic deformations than Rayman 2 (which's models and animation would work flawlessly by the way). Also the original Rayman 3 NPC Models were pretty lowpoly, if higher resolutions like 1024x1024 are used on them, you can see their mesh edges. So retargeting their original animations to a better looking Model in blender will be a solution maybe. Once those exist, there is almost no barrier in replicating the real game
Okay i checked, They are atoms in ps3 and red balls with 2 particles cicling around them slowly in ps2. I think that the ps2 desing its better its more magic like.
This is soooo bad. Sorry, only thing is that have bigger resolution but physic is garbage. Who care there is no loading screen if the is nothing else so what everyone want to load? And there is not much update in graphic. Dont get mad on me, this is only my opinion but i just think og rayman 3 looks much better and physic is also better in og. if ubisoft made update to change resoluton of game woul be better than this. I have to agree that the physics are not in a finished state and the same applies to the graphics which are not just a resolution upgrade and like everything else it's a work in progress (that's also stated in the description just like the seamless loading areas). I don't aim to make this a definitive edition of Rayman 3, but instead to make it a free template for everyone to start developing their levels and/or even full fan games. Thanks for your comment tho and just don't associate the problems my project has to Unreal Engine, im glad i made the choice to use UE but i don't find other engines bad at all. 🙂
I think it would take a ridiculous amount of work to get this thing together. I think it’s a complete waste of time because we’ve already played the original game. You don’t even have glowbox or rayman with no hands yet, never mind the npc that won’t move or shoot. And Jesus dude you can’t even properly punch the npc. When a painting isn’t finished, there’s room for improvement. Here, you’re limited to make the same game with the same assets in a different engine. It’s the biggest waste of time I can imagine. The game will just be rayman 3 in the unreal engine. It literally just looks like a broken version of the game with updated lighting effects.

Those are really good suggestions, i think also that some magical effects are missing. I hope the developer will work on the details later

I love it! Rayman does seem to move very fast however. I really enjoyed the sense of weight the original gane gave him.

Did you model and texture the whole area of was area data ripped somehow and is usable in ue5?
I exported most assets from Rayman 3, but i generated normal Maps for the textures.
