I’m from Hartford and my soul is rejoicing … I remember Kevin and Dobbie when you were little guys running around on Wooster Street😂 But HUBERT and the Heavenly Choir were the masters of the art. Thank you for giving this maestro his due. And lest I forget RIP Ivan …
Y’all just had to be there. 114 Wooster st. Hartford Ct. Sunday morning from the time the choir marched until benediction church was churching. Pastor Powell made church cool to be at. We love and miss him ❤❤❤
I thought they might be related to Hubert because of the last name and how much his stay of playing reminded me of him I have worked with him back in the day
That was just so incredible hearing his story about Hubert and what a big significance he had on hip-hop and Gospel music. Being a lover of Gospel music, but not that familiar with the history of it, and also being a huge lover of Kim Burrell, would I be right in saying that Hubert was a big influence in her sound?
